Did you ever get an answer? I also attended SBC in 2002 and 2003 and would like to join this suit.

i graduated with a 4.0 in M.A. program and got myself a job paying 18 bucks an hour but only becuase i had management experience on my resume. im trying to further my education and im so upset that none of my sanford brown credits/hours will transfer anywhere. sign me up for the class action. It seems we were all lied to about the fact that we could transfer credits to other schools. i still remember the day the women told me that they would, she could care less and made me take the M.A. program first when it was the sonography program i was really interested in. Who has the info for the class action ? please reply. Thank You

Hi Elaine & everybody....I too attended Sanford Brown, Dearborn, MI campus, that is until I was kicked out for not being able to make my out-of-pocket payments toward my tuition, do to being laid-off from my job. I was ready to go back until I was told by some lady named Kim Willis, I couldn't come back, without a copy of my high school diploma. When I initially enrolled @ SB, I wasn't asked to present a high school diploma, because they knew I had been out for over 30 years, plus I have a certificate & bachelors degree from other colleges. Since, then no one from the school will return my calls or follow up on my complaints of being kicked out with only 2 blades to go before the program was completed. I so regret going to this school, I have lost & wasted a year of my life, I am now forced to pay tuition for a program I never finished & don't have anything to show for it! I would love to sue this school, just can't afford attorney!

Sanford brown in Houston is accredited by Caahep for diagnostic medical sonography! Look it up

Very sorry to hear what they did to you and really wish that I can help. You have to seek out students who went to that particular Sanford.

It would've been nice if there were a nationwide action against them but that hasn't happened yet.

Yes i would love to get a lawyer on board for a nationwide lawsuit. Seems like students from all over have the same complaints and treated so badly..

I went to SBI in Trevose Pa (northeast philly) and was complete lied to from the minute I spoke to the admin rep. I started January 26, 2009 and graduated in March of 2010.(I had a family emergency and need to take a short leave). I have been unable to find a job since then and haven't spoken to my "career advisor" in over a year. Even when I did she would only send me jobs leads that were deep in the city and I live over an hour north of the city. If there is a class action suit against them I would love to be part of it. The fine details of my school experience are no different than that of 99% of everyone else on here. Poor teachers and staff, lies upon lies, no or little job placement assistance as promiised, no actual diploma cuz they say I owe the $1,500 still therefore I don't have my certification either. I have attended Sanfordbrown institute for the last two years. It has been the worst experience of my life..I am a single mother of three and going to school there was worse than dealing with my kids..The staff was always changing the classes were not being taught to the best potential. THERE WAS FAVORITE STUDENTS WHO WAS ALWAYS ALLOWED TO GET OVERRIDES.. THE TEACHERS CAME TO WORK WITH BLACK EYES AND SMART MOUTHS.. THERE WAS NO PROFFESSIONALISM AT ALL. NOW THERE ARE SO MANY GAY LEADERS DOWN THERE ITS AS IF ITS A EPIDIMIC OF GAYS VERSES HETROSEXUALS NOT THAT I have anything against someones personal sexual preferences just somethings should not be at a public school.

I have been accused of flirting with the doctors at Ohio Wound Healing Institute. Just because they didnt want African Americans working that close with the doctors.. they humiliated me when conducting there mid point evaluatipn I never went back its not what we say that hurts its how we say them...three workers that I didnt even work with conducted my grade totally unfair...it took sanfordbrown 7 months to find a new site in another racail facility where i was being called a lil colored girl all the time by the staff and patients everyone thought it to be funny. Except me I have 14 in a half hours to complete and still np site.. the staff doesnt call back when I show up in person they get smart call security and still nothong is being done..we need people to fight for us as students when the staff be so blind with greed that they forget about the people.. being an Ma we are suppose to be giving our patients a pleasant hopeful expereince. I feel like this school has let me down yes I am African American but I give respect so I feel as though I should get it in return ih a extern site is being unethical why do I have to submit and be scrutinized when the extern staff should do there homework if they didnt want someone like me why put me in that situation?

I keep getting told they are investigating this and they don't have enough evidence. WELL I would like to give them all the evidence they need!!!
