Obama: I will never question others' patriotism

When faced with the facts of the ruling, only AFTER it had been handed down, he reluctantly added a bold new line of mumbling to his light-gloss over of 'the second amendment according Sen. Obama'.

So now he's going to climb Mt. Abortion and plant his flag of distraction and detachment from reality--what joy!

Psssst--hey--what's going on in Iran? Oh, foreign policy isn't a 'womans' issue' anymore????

Obama should choose Bayh as his running mate. Very popular in Indiana, which is definitely in play in this election. He's a great debater, has executive experience and solid foreign policy cred. There are several new states in play that can seal the election for Obama, but if he wins Indiana, it's all over. Bayh gives him a good shot.

Oh, come on! "Sen. Obama understands that the threats we face..." Yet, he calls for withdrawal of troops from Iraq before the place is secure. He has favored reductions in the military budget, though now he is squishy on the subject. He won't give a response as to what he will do if Iran destroys Israel with nuclear weapons. He has no clue as to what is taking place on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan. Hopefully, he will pick Sam Nunn who has one of the few sane views within the Democratic party on national security. Because, like in everything else, Obama is a rank amateur.

I think Bayh would be a good choice. I don't LIKE Bayh but I DO think he would be a good choice. He's pretty but not too pretty a la John Edwards, he has been governor of Indiana and he has won the last few Senate races in a state that almost always goes Republican in the general election. Two Senators from adjoining states might be a weakness. If bo wins Indiana it is over, as previously noted.

Which would not be good.

Sam Nunn would be a good choice in that he would offer a bit of gravitas to the ticket, which is one thing that bo is severely lacking.

But bo is a smart cookie.

A freshman senator! This only portrays further that Obama is not ready for the White House.

if someone like bush could be president (twice at that), then barack obama is more than capable to become president. i do think sam numm would be a good complement to barack obama. although at this point, anybody would be better than darth vadar (cheney) and his pet monkey (guess who).

no obama will do the sleezy route as he has with everything else in his campaign. have someone go out and question others patriotism and them claim that he doesn't agree with it, knowing full well that the quesiton was out there already and that the damage has been done. this guy is the sleeziest politician around and eventually someone (lord knows mccain won't) will have the guts to stand up to america and say are you serious and point out all the lies, flip flops and scams that this crook has gotten away with.

Blind leading the blind. Unqualified no minds want to rule a country. Give me a break......Obama needs to wipe his mothers milk from under his nose, first!

Bayh would be an excellent choice, especially because it looks like McCain is leaning towards Romney. Bayh is a very likeable version of Romeny.

Nathan, lease list the scams, lies, criminal activities (you labeled him a crook) and sleezy activities Obama has done in this campaign.

I'm not a big fan of romney as the choice. mccain needs someone that is going to stick with the real conservative values that win elections not pick and choose based on polls. Conservatism wins and we need a strong conservative with him. And if you don't believe me then explain Obama trying to move more towards the right in appearance. he understands far left ideals will never win elections just like far right ones wont but true conservativism will always win out because it's what america wants

His real running mate is Bud Billiken.

what about Colin Powell with Obama

I don't think Powell has beliefs that are far left like obama. Personally i wish Powell would have run for the republican spot because he would make an excellent president unlike the two jokers we have now

Yup get a former politician, so called elder statesman, to become your VP - it has worked well in the past.

No. The term you are looking for is "junior." A freshman can only be a freshman for one term – his or her first. And Obama still has two years left on his first term. That's right: He hasn't even served one full term in the Senate. So therefore, he is still a freshman, but can only be so until 2010, when his first term would end. But if he and Durbin both remain in the Senate (which is unlikely), Obama could, in theory, forever be Illinois' junior senator. Get it?

You are aware of what transpired during Lincoln's presidency, right? Civil War, foreign powers weighing whether to intervene in our affairs, massive unemployment, riots, massacres, civil liberties suspended, and that's just a short list.
