My daughter goes to a church daycare where Nick's girlfriend (with whom he has a 1 year old son)works. I was JUST talking to her Friday about her and Nick. I also know people who knew Chastin VERY well, and described her as a drunk and drug addict. She was kicked off her soccer team in high school for these problems. I guess my point is their is now a VERY sad girlfriend and a little boy without a daddy, because some stupid drunk girl didn't see a SEMI!!! The news made it sound like it was the semi drivers fault, but this girl has a record! So so so sad.

I worked with nick and never had any problems with him he was always very helpful and a great person to be around. why was the semi sitting in the middle of the road at that early in the morning without his flashers or head lights on if this nnoymous person could explain that before putting the blame on chastin for not seeing the semi that road has very little light so at that early in the morning it was very dark so think about it before you blame someone. his girlfriend was a great girl to him and they had a very nice looking baby and i am sorry that it happend to them.

We are all a gift from God to our parents. Everyone is put on this earth for a mission and a purpose. I think since you seem to have known this young lady so well (or judged her), then why didn't you take the time to help her? If people would just take the time to be Jesus with individuals like this then maybe our society wouldn't be so dim. Jesus didn't hang out with up standing citizens. He hung around with the murders, prostitutes, theives, addicts, and what most people call not upstanding citizens. I am very sorry for everyone who lost a loved one here in this accident. Death is a part of life. "For many, death is a darkened door at the end of life, a passageway to an unknown and feared destiny. But for God's people, death is a bright pathway to a new and better life. So why do we fear death? Is it fear of the pain we expect, the separation from loved ones, or the unknown? God can help us deal with those fears. He has shown us that death is not final but just another step in the eternal life we received when we followed him." I am praying for both families! With Jesus as your life coach, you will...redefine reality. Let go and let God!

This really isn't the time for a "friend of friend" story. Obviously these people did not know Castin very well or they would have gotten her name right. It is wrong to judge someone who cannot defend herself and a family that is grieving. It is a terrible tragedy and we all need to hug our children, not judge and spread gossip. Hopefully your daughter is learning more in this church daycare than what you are teaching her. It sounds more like junior high school than a church related conversation. Get your facts straight and grow up.

I also think it is too bad that not only can you not put your name on your comment, but "Annoymous" is very appropriate for your name. What teenager has not made mistakes and we still love them. They mature into adults and learn from their mistakes

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Cancer

It's a sensational Full Moon in your sign, combined with a lunar eclipse! Holy cow! However, once you accept that even the best-laid plans could go awry today, you'll find that life is a lot easier to cope with. Try your hardest to take everything in your stride, even if you do have to rethink an arrangement at the eleventh hour. At least it's never a dull moment! Do your best not to let the tensions of the day spoil what promises to be some spectacular New Year's Eve celebrations. It will be an opportunity to let off steam. Have fun!
