1 At Petco there is a Oder eliminator/neutralizer in a red & white gallon jug. I use this & it worked wonders. It is expensive but good. |

1 I like the carpet cleaner that is sold at Walmart. It's called Resolve and it specifically targets pet odors. Also, find what's causing your cat to spray. If it's another cat outside, set up a trap for it. |

1 I think it's called Natures Miracle. It is good stuff. No advice on how to make him stop. When we had one that did that, well...got rid of him ASAP. |

That's it...good stuff. I even cleaned spots on the carpet & sofa. It is a miracle. I reapplied it if it didn't come out well enough the first time. |

1 Cats like it outside. They've been living outside for years. If he has been an inside cat for a while and not fixed, I'd almost bet he could find things to keep him busy.:) |

2 First you must show him who is head cat. For all of us cat owners whack them off no more cats is a good way to put him in his place. That way he has nothing to prove to other male cats. See him sprayin swift kick always helped my cats. after a while they learn no spray no kick. Kind of like smearing nose in and placing out side. Potty training, after a while they sit at the back door and meow. |

1 Hey Toilet, I just got an idea. If we could all put commodes in our yards, and teach the cats to use them....then.... wait, never mind.:) |

1 Toilet, please don't hurt an animal. They have very little understanding of what your kick really means. Try to be gentle and kind and reward positively rather than being cruel. |

There is no way to make him stop marking his territory(YOUR HOUSE). Please have the vet neuter him. This may or may not help with the spraying but it will prvent any unwanted kittens by him if you decide that he must be an outdoor cat. It will be easier for you to clean up after him if he is confined to certain areas of your home. Making special efforts to keep his kitty box clean will help prevent out-of-box accidents. The very best of luck to you. |

Our neutered cat wouldn't quit spraying indoors. The vet told us that he always would mark his territory...indoors or out. The vet was right because when he died he was still a cat who would spray.
