the politicians are supposed to ask the people and do as the people say, not what they want to or what makes them the most money or their (financial) frinds.

The attorney generals office has a white collar crime unit; designed to go after big business and politicians.
reports did get there about many issues in schuylkill county and the crooked politicians here.
However; politics is played and they do nothing about it.

just like when the federal agents raided pottsville years ago to take out minersville street and the drugs and prostitution and gambling.
What they did was arrest all the hookers and johns and NEVER went after any of the politicians or lawyers or cops behind it all.

Now; they covered their 6 and they put people in high places. like mr quirk (an ex pottsville police man) who they put as head of the FBI for schuylkill county! and lets not forget mr holden who they put as sheriff and then put in as a congressman so they can keep pulling his strings and getting what they want.
and mr jones went from pottsville being an atty to sitting on the federal bench.
he also served as head of the LCB (liquer control board)

This story is no surprise and nothing new for this county. The fact they ran the story is giving these politicians a good laugh cause they know they will get away with everything and anything they want to.
