1 I cannot begin to educate you on the ignorance of that statement; so I won't try. And I read the names. They are the names of three human beings who did something dumb. That's all. I pray for their recovery, that come back to us whole, and that they learn from this. |

1 If I recall correctly, an old man lost control of his vehicle near that exit and killed a young driver earlier this year. |

1 If that is a dangerous curve, trying to make the curve in speed mode - in an SUV no less, is suicide. I don't know if the same warning is printed in our newer Blazer, but I remember our old Blazer that warned of those vehicles tipping and rolling over easily and that warning was right above the rear-view mirror. |

1 Note: Drivers need to understand the limitations of their vehicles abilities. Suburbans, pick-ups, and SUV's braking, handling, and manuverability are inferior to front-wheel drive sedans. The only exception might be very deep snow and off road treking. The early so-called SUV's were trucks with wagon type bodies, like the Explorer and the Blazer and were more utility than sport. Later SUV's were built on sedan chassis like the Lexus RX300, which handled better , but still had a high center of gravity. Probably the most unsafe vehicle on the urban highway is the Jeep Wrangler. In my opinion it's a roll-over looking for a place to happen. |

2 One or two of them might still be, my friend; until we know they are safe, please keep those thoughts to yourself for the sake of their families. |

1 The state should make at least $10,000 minimal of this. |

1 I really try not to be rude on these pages, so I am sorry if this sounds that way, but what the hell is WICS? Is that supposed to be Wisconsin? If so, who the hell are you to tell anyone to stay anywhere? That is not a rhetorical question: I would really like to know. |

1 I will never forget when we first got the first Blazer. I think by that time we had it a couple of weeks. I was picked up at the bus stop after work and hubby had spotted a male dressed in real short shorts just standing against his vehicle watching the kids in our neighborhood park. First of all, the guy had his license plate covered up which was the first thing that drew his attention. Hubby saw that right before he picked me up and went straight to the park (with me after he picked me up) and pulled in beside the guy and asked him what he was doing there. Thinking back, I wish I had gotten out and pulled the covering off the license plate, but I didn't think of it then. The guy gave some dumb reason and went in the back of his vehicle and made sure his license plate was securely covered, got into his vehicle and sped off. Hubby started following him in the Blazer and the guy was driving a little fast through the neighborhood. I remember us manuevering one turn and I told hubby to give up. That Blazer used to tip just doing a normal turn around a corner. He didn't stand a chance of catching up to the guy. That tipping sensation in that Blazer used to drive me nuts. Hubby ended up putting an extra bar in it somewhere to stabilize it more. I'm not sure, but I think we eventually replaced a stabilizer bar in as well (probably a problem since brand new, mind you). We never used the Blazer for off-road so that extra bar didn't hurt anything. We at least were then able to turn a corner without feeling like the whole thing was going to tip over. Our newer one doesn't have that problem. You still drive those things carefully though. You just can't drive those things without being careful. |
