State Farm is a company which should be boycotted now at all costs. Their days of being reputable are long gone. Katrina was the turning point.

One rep in particular really urks me. Her name is Lindsey Mamon. Her lies and misrepresentation caused a claim of mine to be denied. When I brought it to her attention she just laughed and said "That's what I get paid for."

F**k her and f**k State Farm.

I said about the same thing on another topic here, but I had thought they deleted it. Oh well, I guess it will be up twice.

It wasn't my intention to mention names. But now that you mentioned it, I had a problem with Lindsey Mamon too. What a biotch. Very rude and lied about everything. I tried to go over her head to complain and her supervisor was as bad as she was. Didn't get his name but I guess it doesn't matter.
Allstate and State Farm are the two worst at paying claims. But I think State Farm is in a class of it's own when it comes to terrible customer service. Gangbangers on crack could do a better job.

We should start a petition to get this wretched bimbo fired. Stuff was stolen from my car last year and she told me to replace the stuff, keep the receipts and I would get reimbursed.

That didn't happen.%###% State Farm stiffed me after I replaced all the stuff and of course Lindsey denied ever telling me I could. Now I'll have to sue them, but it could take forever.

Add me to the list of people with a bad experience with Lindsey Mamon and State Farm.

From what I'm reading here, I think she was hired by her superiors to mislead people. Just the same I'd personally rather not work at all, than have to make a living screwing over policyholders all day long.

And, her arrogant snobby attitude isn't necessay no matter what her superiors told her. This is a very mean woman who works for a very mean and corrupt corporation.

I disagree with the post above. I think she's doing this all on her own.

However State Farm is clearly a bad faith company who is stiffing people on claims and should be avoided at all costs.

As for Lindsey Mamon, fire her with no severance pay!

She did the exact same thing to me to a T! Except in my case it was my apartment that was robbed and vandalized by movers. She was also extremely obnoxious and unprofessional. I hope they fire her. But the way State Farm has been treating policyholder lately, they'll probably give her a raise.

BTW, the correct spelling of her last name is "Mammen."

If she was just hired, I might be able to understand why she still works there. Otherwise it's the fault of State Farm for allowing such a terrible employee to continue working there.

When I talked to this Lindsey Mammen she acted like her father owned the company and could do as she pleased without fear of repercussions. I filed a complaint with the Illinois Department of Insurance. They sent me a letter saying they would investigate, but never heard from them again.

I was always afraid of getting sued when making posts like this. But I doubt this witch will have enough money to sue all of us.

And, a witch she really was. Out of all the people I've ever dealt with over the phone this Lindsey was far and away the meanest and nastiest.

She has the people skills of about a rabid doberman.

Fortunately I've never had to deal with this Lindsey monster, but the rep I dealt with as bad enough. The person was pleasant, but lied through her teeth about everything, including the day and time of my appointment with the claims office. That was a big waste of time.

Did State Farm apologize at least. Like a good neighbor they just said "oh well."

For a long time State Farm put the wool over people's eyes and they actually bought into that "Good Neighbor" rhetoric.

Their true colors started showing after Katrina. Now that Obama is in office they've been blatantly screwing over their policyholders. Was that so-called "code of conduct" they put in effect this year so kind of joke?

None of us are laughing. I found about 10 different sites which rated best and worst insurance companies. State Farm was among the five worst on ALL OF THEM! I posted the sites here but they got deleted. Nobody will be able to delete them from my website though.

I checked out those sites you're talking about. I was shocked! I had always thought State Farm was reputable. It's time to give Geico a call and cancel out with the Bad Neighbor. LOL

I had a rotten experience with that Mammen woman too. She totally mishandled my claim. I switched companies after that and I'm very happy with Geico.

State Farm is a bad faith company who must be avoided. Forget the past. They lost money this year and are cutting corners like crazy now.

Lindsey Mammen is really bad news too. But I think she was hired to lie and misrepresent policyholders. Not sure if she was hired to sleep around a lot, but she's good for that too.

Yeah, just take her on a date to burger king and then go from there....
As for State Farm, they ain't what they used to be. I don't care if you've been a policyholder for 30 years. They'll stiff you now. In fact they pay claim adjusters bonuses to stiff or underpay the claimants. It's all over the internet.

I have had State Farm over 25 years. During this period I had claims. Never had a problem. Its all has to do with the agent.

I had State Farm longer than you did. Until recently I never had a problem. Then they stiffed me on a homeowners claim after a pipe broke. Just my luck my car was rear ended while I was parked, only weeks later. They stiffed me on that claim too, saying I staged it.
My agent was as furious as I was but couldn't do anything about it.

I don't know if it's the economy or just the attitude they feel they can stiff their policyholders and get away with it, but those who have State Farm should switch companies without delay before they become a victim too.

Allstate is the worst company on the face of the earth! Those arrogant bastids even came out and said they only care about their investors.

As for State Farm, I have a lot of friends complaining. One of them did mention a bad experience with a woman in Bloomington called Lindsey. Probably the same one everyone else is complaining about.

Allstate stiffs their policyholders bigtime. But they make it fast and painless at least. State Farm likes to waste your time and drag things out, then stiff you.

Earl please. It all has to do with the fact you work for State Farm. All the insurance companies right now suck to some degree.

It's just that State Farm and Allstate are the worst. I don't know which one I hate more. Had them both.

Allstate is the epitome of arrogance. They're the "Take us to court" people.

State Farm lies like crazy to their policyholders like this Mammen woman. "Like a Rude Neighbor State Farm is not fair."
