Obama, listen to this man. Those people have been fighting each other for eons. They don't understand nationhood.

America is a new place. It began as a melting pot of people coming together and learning to live with each other. That is our heritage. That is not the way it is in the older and longer settled world. Getting involved and taking sides in their conflicts just don't work. If a group within them harms us, destroy them totally, then let the people remaining pick up the pieces to suit themselves. You can't impose nationhood, the boundaries of which were not determined by them, on people so tribal in their outlook.
