Not just a blight on Malone, I'm afraid. Nancy Reich is also involved in one of those "Adverse Possession" property theft dynamics where she is trying to take one of my neighbor's land by building outbuildings on it. My neighbor found out and asked her to move or swap land, she refused both. Apparently, she didn't even have a building permit when she built her home, and violated the local environmental agency's guidelines by not getting a permit from them. So there was never a survey. She seems to be above the law in many ways, other people who have no Adirondack Park Agency (APA) permit have been heavily fined. She's like a modern day mafia king (Queen) pin. I can remember when my neighbor defended her to me, saying she's really an OK person. I think he was the last member of our small community that she got along with, now not even him. I wonder why she keeps living here with so much hostility.

come on people, she was driving a comlinks car! of course she should be fired! but i'm sure small town malone politics will probably save her. what if she had an accident in that car while drunk? we'd ALL be paying for it. if you drive drunk you should be thrown in jail to rot. to many innocent people have died or suffered because of idiots like her that think they are above the law. what if she killed one of your family? would you feel different then? and for the record, i don't know her at all. i just hate all drunk drivers.

The people at ComLinks are wonderful people. They work hard and do amazing things for the community. Many people would be cold or hungry if not for ComLinks. It is time for Nancy Reich to resign. It is unfortunate that she has become such a liability to the organization because she has done a lot to help ComLinks grow. Now she is an anchor and needs to do the professional thing and resign.

A big thank you to all the ComLinks employees for continuing to do their jobs while all this is going on.

Unfortunately, that may be true. However, it doesn't change the fact that her resignation would be the right thing to do.

Almost me, i agree with you there but with the economic times there will be no way in heck she'd quit her job that's why she should be terminated and i can't for the life of me figure out why she hasn't except for the fact she must have dirt on some others in the company

Past victim of Nancy Reich. She will get away with it just as she has everything else. Any time an upstanding "Board Member" sees the light and tries to right the wrongs, they are ex-communicated. Shame on the rest who support this
"Mafia Queen" as she has be referenced,(an appropriate reference by the way). Should we all be allowed to commit MANY criminal acts just as long as we can come with one or two good deeds? The people of Malone should be informed as to just how much she has LOST for the county. It far outweighs the gains. Not to mention the MANY good employees that have been wronged. Bless the good ones that stick it out. If only they could stick up for themselves without loosing their jobs.

I agree about the many good employees. I would like to think that I was one of them at one time. Why is it such a problem for the powers that be to recognize the evil that lurks in that one employee?

I would say we should all write to the ComLinks board of directors demanding more accountability from an agency that spends OUR money, but the agency's website has 2006-07 officers and directors listed, and I know those aren't current. Hell, their site even has Don Moll - the guy who held the one-man protest against Nancy last year - still listed as an employee.

I agree, the more people that write the better. However, it has been my experience that the "boa ard" is in her pocket and that the minute that a board member is ready to do the "right" thing, she finds a way to either dissuade them or push them out. I have seen it happen more than once. It has always made me wonder two things: what does she "have" on the board members or what kind of service does she provide to win them over. Don't laugh, I'm dead serious. I expect that a legislator very well might be able to provide one with a current list of board members or a call to the Comlinks office might just be able to provide some current info. The list might be public record. Also, I would think that there very well might be a state website that could provide such information. I also know that there now is yet another past employee that is ready to make some noise, along with myself and a few others.
