The dog owners were careless and oviously two reasons they would allow these vicous dogs to roam free..one to keep law officals at bay and the second reason to keep outsiders from getting to close to their BUSINESS..Enough said on that.Missi was vicously attacked outside her home and luckily she lived through it.Tho her scars will always be a constant reminder of a senseless attack that should have never had to happen. After these dogs bit the next door neighbor man who lives up the street, they should have been properly maintained then,so this didn't ever happen again. But they went on to kill TWO pets and then maul this woman while she was on her own property!I say CHARGE them and take away their rights to even own a dog!

Charge them Nina!! And take their "VISCIOUS" dog pretty and put her head the same place you sent the others too!!She was in the attack ,I am sure the woman being attacked knows how many dogs were dragging, attacking and mauling her body! For the Wilson's to try to protect this dog and take up the courts time in trying to defend a dog that has run free, bit a neighbor, killed others pets, chased people who go up the street on horses and or 4-wheelers is beyond me. Shows the responsibility and calliber of the way these cold calloused dog owners think! Charge them good Nina. And send pretty to doggie hell thats where she belongs!

Yeah, the victim, who was high, could tell, by a flashlight, in the dark, which specific dog was attacking her. Even her husband said it wasn't that dog, and she's mad at him for telling the cops that....

It wasn't one specific dog it was all FOUR of them ..the victim does know that much and she also knows the same FOUR dogs that used to run loose ,her being high probably saved her life and her being high would have nothing at all to do with the carelessness of the Wilson's not maintaining their dogs!!!! As for being mad at her husband for telling the cops it wasn't the dog in the attack..hahahaha guess he was there beside her too right??And with a flashlight LOL Anyway as the story goes all is taken care of now thanks to the law enforcement of vermillion co and for the judge who seen right through people like you who want to believe the victim being high would have anything to do with these starving animals!! Enough said!!

This was a sad story to report. The victim's injuries were awful. We should all be grateful she, or one of her kids, weren't killed.

Concerned -- were you intending to make some point? If you were, I think you failed. Other than suggesting it was good for this woman to be high, which, perhaps, explains a great deal in itself.
The problem is, being high pretty much killed her credibility with most people, and made her an unreliable witness.
No one was questioning if it was one dog or four. The point was that she claimed in court to be able to SPECIFICALLY identify ONE of the dogs in the attack. Even though she was stoned, she couldn't see, she was able to somehow pick out enough detail to identify one. In her situation, a straight person would have difficulty doing that, much less one who was already stoned.
And I have no idea what you mean about the judge seeing through anything. If you knew anything about the case (point taken) you'd know that there was nothing for the judge to see through. The people were charged, they pleaded guilty, end of story. The only problem was that the woman didn't get all the $$ she wanted out of the deal.

should not matter which dog did the biting. It was a pack of 4 pit bulls doubt seriously if 3 of them stood back thinking to them selves lets just watch. And why should the victim not be believable just because she was high. She was on her own property and has the right to be safe from roaming dogs. does she have the bites to prove her attack. If 4 dogs were there all 4 should be put down along with thier owners for letting them run loose. There should be a limit of the number of pit bulls each household should be allowed to harbour.

Hey "Well." I don't know if you have watched the news lately or not, but medical costs have skyrocketed. The victim did not ask to be attacked when she went outside of her house. Just like if you walked outside of your house right now, you wouldn't be asking to get hit by a drunk driver. I highly doubt you wouldn't sue for punative damages if you were in that scenario.

THANK YOU!
Dogs are taught how to be mean by their ignorant owners. I truly feel for this woman and feel the owners should PAY DEARLY for their stupidity.....
