3,000 outside vendors. I am sure that more in the local area will benefit as well. I believe it is a good move. The only downside I see is that our city leaders could not wait to tear down City Center. A much better location with ample room for local entrepenuers to benefit with shops, hotels or whatever in place a real draw for tourism.

The casinos have been such a smashing success in Detroit, pretty soon downtown Columbus can look as good as Motown!

Smart Move would have been to put this gem at City Center..... I guess a park will be so much better for the city ... Seriously???? Although, the Arena location will have direct access to the new rail that will bring people in to the city. I guess it is appropriate that City Center is being demolished as the true center of the city is now the Nationwide Arena district; most successful Columbus company, only Columbus pro sports team, only Columbus baseball franchise, proximity to Short North arts district, next door to best downtown housing and market. Nationwide and High has replaced Broad and High. Columbus needs to thank God for Nationwide. And needs to get rid of the clown mayor, the crap schools, and invest in law enforcement to rid the city and its government of trash

It is funny how you call them crap schools cause they are suppose to raise the kids, provide health care, feed them, teach them morals, owe yeah and educate them. If you had any idea what kind of educators actually worked in that school system? I imagine you would not last a day in a classroom in even one of the "better" schools in the city. You have no clue.

BRING IT to Columbus ALREADY! I got up early in the morning on voting day JUST to vote for Issue #3 .... so glad we won! Can't wait to play the slots!

I've been to casinos 8 times in my life -- 7 times I came home with more money than I left with - all playing the slot machines. Not to mention how much fun it is!!

Bring it, bring it, bring it!!! Victory for Issue #3 - victory for slot players! woot woot!

We're already happy! Well, those of us who are employed anyway. The whiners are the ones waiting on their porches for their "entitlement gov't checks" --- and jealous of those of us who are responsible enough to hold down jobs and spend a little on FUN!

I'm tired of driving to Indiana and Wheeling just to have a good time. We need that locally and the voters said YES! I don't care what the casino looks like, just so they build them quickly! Especially the one here in Columbus!

Yah, that bus load of senior citizens going to the casino is very scary indeed. pffft

Do you worry about Scioto Downs, bingo halls, church raffles, lottery tickets too? It's all the same thing!

The Grand Victoria is awesome and I won $120 on the nickle slots. Also, the one in Wheeling was a good time too. I haven't been to the Argosy, but the Blue Chip in Indiana was another good one. I only came out of there with $60 extra bucks, but had a blast!

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Taurus

Someone isn't mucking about today, and if they're annoyed about something they'll come right out with it. This means you could be on the receiving end of some zingers, but equally it means that you'll be giving as good as you get. Now, although it will be very tempting to let off steam by giving someone an earful, aren't there better directions in which to channel your energy?
