I have been reading all the articles about the "Clint John" shooting and how the family is looking to hold someone liable for their son's death.

As it is now, the "y" generation have no value of respect for themselves or their communities. It is ashame 300K was used with gross misjudgment. I knew 51% of the jury would see Cj was at fault. And even the mere presence of a police uniform should have descalated the situation if one has values of respect for themselves and others. It is will baffle my mind for years to come. This $$ could have used in many different ways to improve the efficiency of the nation or chapters...I hope this s**t stops.

I, 100%, agree to this viewpoint.
As for myself, I travel back and forth from Shiprock to Farmington on a daily basis for work. I suppose I am lucky that I have never experienced racism in this town.
I am baffled and confused to question why the Navajo Nation agreed to offer 300,000 to pay for legal fees.

Wow.... You hit the nail on the head. Thank you for your clear understanding of the ignorance of the whole trial and how the family tried to blame everyone except the real culprit.. Clint JoHn.

(formerly chicken street jhon)...The Navajo Nation did the right thing in funding this lawsuit. It exposed a racist police dept.,and showed the world that Navajos can't get justice in F-Town. I hope the tribe backs up other Jhonz who are mistreated when venturing into Totah. Every "Dine' aanai'" who talks bad about the Tribe's decision needs to feel the end of Officer Scott's baton.
