I don't know how this thread got off the subject of a sorry ass commissioner who is so arragant that he looks after his butt hole buddies and lets little children suffer. He needs to have to dig ditches for a while and he might look at things a little different. I understand their is a good posibility he might get a chance at some labor in the near future.
Please tell me how the commissioner has caused suffering of little children.

The police dept. was told they could not have their golf tournament for Shop with A Cop unless they used the grill at the Community Center to feed them at a cost of most of the proceeds of the tournament. Of course the Police dept. said thanks but no thanks. Lamar has no heart. He gives our money to buy votes and since children can't vote they have no value to him. They do have value to some voters and those voters will not forget.

Lamar would build stupid useless things. Why build something common people can use when you can cater to the elite.

I's expects that grill dont earn enough money to pay it's fair share of the utility bill.

We's knows thats building is costing more than it brings in to even pay the utilities, not countings the salaries of county employees theres......

That sorry building is a losing proposition for the citizens of union county. It wills never pays for itselfs........

Why not have something for everyone in this town?
I like the community center and go there all the time for lunch.
Do things have to just your way?
There are lots of things for the "common" person in the area, so why not something a step above the rest? We all pay our fair share of taxes and I'm sure those using the golf course and hanging out at the Grill pay their fair share or more.

Blairsville is changing. Get use to it.

Isn't that from the Bible?
Suffer the little children.

This reads like a soap opera!
I'm sure none of those rich elite golfers help out with any of the donations for the kids. Wrong. I bet many own those expensive old cars on the square and they donate like crazy.

This isn't the only thing that reads like a soap opera. The corruption in this town could very well be the basis of a good soap opera. We have crooked politicians, crooked bankers, people stealing from the public in misuse of county funds, we have payoff's in charging the county for equipment not delivered and the list is so long I'm not sure we can get it all in the the one hour segment. It will all be all right in the end because a white knight is coming to save the people in Blairsville. Course that white knight is going to make our black President look good right here before election with cleaning up smallville USA but you can't have everything.

Why not build them anyway. In my opinion they are more deserving than a bunch of fools chasing a little white ball.
