I would like to thank all the men and women of the military that serve to protect our country. May God bless each and everyone of you, still serving and veterans. You are truly appreciated! Everyone have a safe and fun holiday! God Bless America!

We had all better begin to again Delcare our Independance and take our Country back. There is a Liberal movement in this country that is quickly taking our freedoms.

* Independence Day July 4th *

On July 4, 1776, we claimed our independence from Britain and Democracy was born. Every day thousands leave their homeland to come to the "land of the free and the home of the brave" so they can begin their American Dream.

The United States is truly a diverse nation made up of dynamic people. Each year on July 4, Americans celebrate that freedom and independence with barbecues, picnics, and family gatherings. Through the Internet we are learning about and communicating with people of different nations, with different languages and different races throughout the world. Bringing the world closer with understanding and knowledge can only benefit all nations.

We invite all nations to celebrate with Americans online this Fourth of July.

Happy Birthday, America!

Soon may be the time for the 2nd American Revolution.

That is probably one of the dumbest statements I have ever seen.
Liberals GAVE you your freedoms moron!
The founding fathers were L-I-B-E-R-A-L.
LIBERal...LIBERty...duh!
It the pinhead conservatives who can't see past the end of their noses who are the greatest danger to our freedoms.
We lost a lot of a great many freedoms and government became much more invasive to our personal freedoms under GW Bush...a conservative.
Wake up!

I'm not going to take sides in the liberal vs. conservative debate. But since this thread has already taken us there, I would encourage people to take the time to read a couple of related books. "The 5000 Year Leap" by W. Cleon Skousen will clearly illustrate what our founding fathers had in mind over 200 years ago. It is vastly different than what today's republicans and democrats envision. Another worthwhile book is "New Deal or Raw Deal" by Burton Folsom, Jr. This shows the striking similarities between today's economic mess and what we went through during the Great Depression of the 30s. It also shows abuse of power and the effects of too much intrusion by the federal government. If you read these with an open mind, you'll be thankful you took the time.

No moron, you got it wrong. L-I-B-E-R-A-L-I-S-M is a slow road to D-E-S-P-O-T-I-S-M! And under the current nitwit you obviously voted for this election...we're turning Liberty into Tyranny faster that Grant took Richmond. Get lost!

What a lame comeback.
You wouldn't recognize Liberty if it was handed to you on a silver platter.
Despotism is what we had with the last Republican President. The economy and the new wealthy ruling class were created by conservative ideology. That looks more like despotism and tyranny than anything we've seen in America for a long long time.
Conservatism can be explained in two ways, "I've got mine, tough for you." or "Too stupid to realize these rich jerks are going to do nothing but screw you over so they can stay rich."

By the way, the "nitwit" in the White House has demonstrated more wisdom and intelligence in the short there than the last occupant, that you probably voted for, showed us in 8 years.

So how smart are you?
All you can do is toss out DESPOTISM as a rebuttal and the sad part is, you don't even know what despotism is.

Wisdom and intelligence! Get over yourself Lib...you're not the genius that you think you are.

Even with the millions a month spent on the war, Bush's entire 8 year expendeture on the war is less than the Obama stimulus plans! and that was spent in 6 months!!

Obama is spending at a magnitude higher than Bush ever dreamed of spending!

Bush spent $874 billion on the wars over the 8 years he was in office.

In response to the $874 Billion, Obama signed the tax payers up to pay $3.4 TRILLION,($3,400 Billion). A debt level never before seen in history. And what did we get for our $3.4 Trillion? the need for a SECOND stimulus package, and even higher unemployment.

Yeah The Anointed One sounds like a real hero to me. Enjoy it while you got it there Mr. Lib. European Socialism and tax and spend ideology is just the kind of CHANGE we need! NOT!!!!!!!!!!

I am obviously a lot smarter than you. But that is not hard to do, I imagine at least 70 percent of the people in the world are smart than you.

The stimulus plan would never have been needed if the Reagan, Bush and Bush presidencies had a clue about how the economy works. Now Obama is stuck trying to straighten out decades of "trickle-down" theory and socialism for the wealthy.

We'd likely still have a surplus if not for the failures of GW Bush. Tax cuts for the rich and starting wars in the wrong place is not how you run a country except into the ground.

I keep seeing this "Anointed One" garbage...anointed by who? Voters? Gee, weren't there a bunch of other "anointed" presidents before Obama?

If there was ever an anointed one it was GW Bush. The only reason he got where he did was his family's name, money and connections along with the fact that the GOP needed a puppet for Cheney and the neo-con gang. If that isn't "anointment"what is?

You have the same old tired lies, BS and rhetoric and no real or new ideas.
You're just another clueless ditto-head.

Hey smart guy, don't forget that 57 million people didn't vote for your candidate. Using your logic, I guess they're all dumber than you. What a joke you are. In 2010, we take the country back from you flat earth no growth marxists.

I am sure there are some people in that 57 million who are smarter than me and most are probably smarter than you.
So the people that didn't vote for the winner still count?
Too bad you ditto-heads didn't remember that when GW was in office.
Oh I forgot he only made it into office by a slim margin, that must be the difference, when you trounce the guy, the losers are more important.
Back in 2000, Gore actually got more of the popular vote that Bush did...what should we think of that?
Marxists! You don't know squat about politics. We are not even close to Marxism.
If that is the best argument you can muster, you will definitely get whooped again in 2010.
Good luck !

So Obama fanatics, do you have any problem with the fact that soon you wont be able to decide for yourself what type of treatment you get if your sick? Do you have a problem that soon you wont be able to go to your own doctor, but one that has been chosen for you by the government? If you get cancer, and its treatable and you can survive, if the government doesnt see it that way, chances are you will die from it.
Do you have a problem with the fact that Obama thinks its ok to kill partially born babies? Not just regular abortion but partial birth, where you can see the baby's head come out of the womb before they kill it? In fact he wants to make it a law that doctors have to perform abortions, whether it goes against their beliefs or not. Do you have any issues with that?
Do you have a problem that the government now owns most of the major banking companies and dictates how and where your money goes?
How about the fact that he doesnt even support ENGLISH being the official language of the United States? Taxing ciggerettes, taxing alchohol probably soon, tougher laws on churches, restricting religous programming...seriously, no problem?
Is this still the USA? Where are all of our freedoms going?

AND guess what.....Hillary got more of the popular vote than your boyfriend did in the primary elections. He had his minions throw out the states she won early on.

We'd be better off if she had won.

Calm down and take a deep breath. Slowly back pick up the remote and turn off the TV with Fox news broadcasting. Next, walk towards the door and on your way out turn off Rush on the radio. Last, step outside and take a nice walk to the park and enjoy the beautiful day. Obama can’t control the weather yet. He is still working on it.

Unfortunately for many years my family and I have not had the freedom to choose which doctors, what tests, what treatment, etc. It's called FOR PROFIT health insurance and it has ruined the U.S. health system. They tell us which of "their plan" doctors will take us (and they are hard to get in to see), what procedures are covered OR NOT, what conditions are pre-existing. They only want healthy people anyway, so what's the point of insurance at all?

My doctor is chosen for me by my health insurance. My treatment is approved or not by my health insurance. My friend with cancer can't get a certain treatment his doctor wants because his health insurance won't pay.

You call that freedom? I say rationing has been here for years by the big moneymaking health plans.

I remember when Bush beat Lurch in 2004 how fatass Michael Moore became the self proclaimed leader of the democratic party.

They tried that BS on my dad when he had Leukemia, he didnt take their preffered physician and went to the one he wanted. His insurance still covered it, but the doc had to convince them that he was the best doctor for my dad's case. I realize every situation is different, but you cant go down without a fight. Everything is controlled so heavily now, whether its government or corporations doing it you have to stand your ground and fight for what is best. My dad live over 11 years with Leukemia, under the treatment option they wanted him to take (which was basically nothing) he would have been gone sooner. Oh, and it wasnt the Leukemia he died from either, it was a heart attack. I dont say this stuff to argue, I only want to make the point that right now you can try and hopefully get the best care you want and need, soon you may not be able to. Its always worth fighting for what is best for you, regardless of what the government and insurance companies have to say.

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Sagittarius

Watch out. Your mind is working overtime in full analytical mode, but you may be leaping to unfounded conclusions and reading too much into situations. The result of all this is that you might start to suspect someone's honesty or loyalty, and wonder what exactly they're up to. Don't accuse them of anything awful just yet because it may turn out that you were totally wrong about them.
