Best of luck to Mayor Crase. I'm interested in seeing what happens in Holcomb's elections, I wish Cox seat was up, or he would resign...does anybody in Holcomb give him the time of day? Is everyobody as tired as I am of his games? Anybody know anything about the two that have filed, Mcalister or Tafoya? Is Welch or Newman seeking reelection? They need to, they seem to be the only two that do anything for the city outside of their Wednesday pow wow's.

I have to politely disagree with your comments about the perks, atelast in Holcomb I don't know of any perks they get. We have one idiot who thinks the city should spend no money at all on anything, but I think the rest of them are aware they need to tighten the spending in town. We need a better looking city, more city employees for sure, as a tax payer those are the things Im willing to pay for. What I'm not willing to pay for is this memorial that idiot cox wants me to pay for. He wants to move some playground equipment that is going to cost me the tax payer. All he ever gripes about it foolish spending, and here he is spending my money for a memorial nobody except those that knew the Clutters cares about. As for Garden City, you all would be better served in they just appointed Mesa they mayor forever.

That's so very true. One thing the City of Garden City does need to do however is to let the entire world know how gay friendly this community is. Garden is so accepting..this is the first place I've ever lived,(with the exception of Lawrence) where being gay was accepted. I especially like the fact that there are so many very butch cowboy, truck driver and farmer gays who aren't afraid to show it. Love our city government, you can't beat it!!!

uh, can you get me in touch with the last bit,.... i mean demographic bunch?

I'll ignore you uneducated comments above and get back to the post. The latest for Holcomb council shows Tracy Davis filed, my oh my I'm considering putting up a for sale sign if she gets in...all she will do is follow Councilman Cox's lead, she's running for personal revenge. She was on the council before and didn't do a thing other than sit there like a lump on a log. I hope Mr McCallister has a real goal and not a personal agenda. If Tafoya, Newman and McCallister get on the same page things might actually get done in town. Please don't vote for Davis, this town doesn't need it
