Hey everyone. I went to Sextons yesterday. Wednesday October 28, 2009. I was kind of afraid based on some of the reviews that I have read. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I did get sedated so I cannot take away anyone's experience who did not. My dentist was Dr. Clark HE IS GREAT!!!! I had 19 teeth pulled and upper and lower dentures. I got there at 6 am and my teeth were pulled by 10. I came back at 1 to get my dentures and was out by 2. I found the total experience be be great because I HATE dentists because I've had some really bad experiences but Sexton did the job and I am very pleased especially with the dentures. The only thing that I can say is that if you can get the extra money, get sedated. You don't feel anything. I hope that this helps someone.

Oh yeah, I think the worst part of the process was the impressions. The staff tried to keep me comfortabld during this procedure and it calmed me a little and I mean just a minute. Taking the impressions were making me gag big time. So that was my worst experience, However I knew that it had to be done. OH, another thing for the pain, they prescribed hydrocodone which is the generic for Vicodin. Remember I had 19 teeth pulled, this Vicodin was not working at all. So I went to the store and got some Aleve's and I can truly say they work very well. So if you don't have the money to fill the prescription for Vicodin which would probably be a good thing, you can get aleve over the counter with much better effects. Hope this helps

I went to Sexton early 09 and yes it is very uncomfortable to have teeth extracted by any Dentist. Some people can tolirate pain more than others.
I recommend if you can not handle the pain then ask to be put to sleep. It cost more but thats the way it is. So have some extra money for that. The pain you suffer from your gums healing up is much greater than the extractions. I did not hear anyone complaining about that. I say if you can not handle it then pay your local dentist his fees and be MAYBE happier. |

I went to south carolina in 5/2009 and had the whole upper pulled and a new upper put in i was treated so good the dntist was so fast i didnt feel no pain and it was over before i knew it,i would highly recomend them. |

Well it's been a month and I am happy with my teeth.....In fact I have had 6 friends and 3 family memebers who have gone down to Sexton and they loved it. I will be going back in two weeks to get the light weight gums. SEXTON DENTAL MADE ME SMMILE AGAIN....

How many teeth did you have pulled if you don't mind me asking?and how much did it cost i need 10 uppers and top dentures so just was wondering about how much ir would cost.I probably will go woth sedation. |

Been going to the Florence clinic since August. First, I had a cleaning and then i later scheduled a crown on my front tooth. The temporaries they make upstairs are absolutely awesome. They did mine 4 days before my wedding and you couldn't even tell. Went back for my permanent and the wrong color was ordered. They ordered a new one- it was very close but not exactly white enough (apparently my teeth are really white). Although everyone I know says they are a great match, I didn't really like it. They told me to try it out and call back if I wanted. Did that and am waiting on a new crown. They are fast, friendly, and aim to please!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED- Dr. Brian Terry and Staff!! They will be doing all my dental work!!!

Well, I went anyway it was cheaper than my local dentist. I was served quickly and I got excellent care from Dr. Terry. I look forward to going back to get my crown 12/30/09.
