Now that Eric is gone and apparently that limping along other Bisbee Forum has finally closed up shop, let's get this Topix rolling and start bringing City government information to the people as well as the trivia. Start talking people!

Afraid of the truth about the conduct of the City of Bisbee? Why should you particularly care? Aren't you trying to stay in favor by discouraging the truth about Bisbee politics? You think you stopped people from posting and you may have run off the weak, but you can't stop the strong.

So asking for tangible evidence of your allegations rates me a peanut? Newspapers can’t print unsubstantiated gossip. Neither of our small town papers can afford a real investigative reporter let alone a team of lawyers. These are the days of home grown investigations. Why don't you do the work? Uncover your big story and blog it? Just saying or hearing that someone is dirty doesn’t make it so. What’s your proof?

Who said anyone is dirty? AND, why are you talking to yourself?

Dirty Little Secrets
Biloxi, MS

My opinion is that Cochise County in general is corrupt as any County in the United States. The fact that the Sheriff's Office is running the investigation into a member of the BPD is a joke in and of itself. It is a "Good Old Boy" System of the highest level. And, Bisbee is right in the thick of it. Bisbee is a town with no shame yet they want to hush up all of their dirty little secrets.

The above post and others implied dirt to me. Unless of course there is more than one poster from Biloxi Ms. I assume you posted this and others lamenting the lack of anyone caring about the situation. Unfortunately, your explanations of possible improprieties seem a bit vague. You also mentioned the lack of newspaper coverage. I’m just asking you what the heck you’re talking about. What is it that we don’t seem to care about? What do you know that the newspaper won’t print?

You are assuming a lot there, "Gruff". Actually, aren't your assumptions similar to what you are accusing me of? Why not try to be more careful with your baseless implications?

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Libra

If you're invited to a party or gathering today and you don't know whether to go, you should. You'll have a terrific time and you might meet someone who always makes your knees go weak. Even if it's a perfectly harmless flirtation and you're both happily committed to other people, it will still do your ego good to have a tantalizing conversation with this person.
