Binghamtons Thorn in downtown also know as the Ross Building is being demolished slowly because of structural problems. The building contains asbestos which will escape into the air with the demolishing. The EPA and city should be monitoring the air quality closely. It could come back to haunt them in years to come with lawsuits against the city for health problems from breathing the asbestos.
