Makes sense to me. Let the Marines and the Army do their job and stop meddling with all this post-20th Century "era of good feelings" crap. Its a war. Commit to win or get out.

I agree with this Marine.

This Obama strategy dictated to General McCrystal, is wrong.

The enemy shoots to kill us, but when we return fire and have them on the run, when the enemy gets civilians into the mix as cover and distraction, we supposed to let the enemy off the hook, so they have another day and opportunity to try and kill us?

THAT is BS.

This is WAR.

When the enemy is telegraphed BEFORE the fire fight that they can use civilians as cover, and get us to shrink from the battle, they are manipulating us.

This "policy" of "oh we need to be liked by the muslim civilians" is a liberal point of view that weakens our fighting ability, fighting men and women and therefore, our United States.

President Obama, if you are going to wage War, you should wage it to WIN, and not half-step and coddle the enemy.

We do not need the approval of these terrorists, their supporters nor anybody else in the World.

The Rules of Engagement by McCrystal are unconscionable. He should be relieved. If the orders came from the politicians, he should have resigned. The ROE serve neither contribute to accomplishing the mission or take care of the troops.

Bring the troops home, if they stay either way they can't win. This evolved from fighting terrorists to trying to rebuild a government. The US military is seem as invaders, and rightfully so, by the Afhgan people.

All those that say that the US military should fight without restrictions, I tell you the result will be another 9/11. Instead of protecting the American people it will further incite terrorists to launch another attack on the US. All you people are blind, hypocritical patriots.

Rules of Engagement is a thing of the past. American soldiers are dying needlessly because they are the only ones following the rules. The Afghan people are devious and are not following this rule therefore, this rule should be moot. It takes two to tango, isn't that what is always said? I understand that civilians will be hurt but, if they want their country to survive this war then, they should not help the insurgents. Those insurgents are such cowards, hiding behind innocent people. I pray to God that he will end this war for everyone then, our soldiers will come home and protect us from harm. We Americans are suffering because of this war. Our monies are depleting. Corruption is at an all time high. Crime rates are rising. How do we expect our children to concentrate on school and things they should, if adults keep on pilfering, killing, committing corporate and personal crimes? Everyone's stretched to the limits and I feel that America is about to burst at the seems. Sending more troops may be the last draw then, Americans will be soooo angry that there'll be a real fight in America. I love our President and our Commanders in the Middle East but, please weigh this situation. If the Middle Eastern people cannot stand up for themselves, in spite of our help for the past 8 years then, they do not deserve our assistance. How much longer will it take for these people to wake up and take care of theirselves or are all of them with the insurgents? Think about it.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Aries

Financial muddles are more than likely today so be careful if you're going shopping. You might be accidentally short-changed or there could be a misunderstanding about how much something costs. This isn't a good day to lend friends anything valuable in case they don't return it or they damage it in some way. Better safe than sorry.
