Carnegie is still a good town!

I don't care what any of the haters say. Carnegie is still the best town in the county! We may be smaller than some, but we still have a good place to raise your children.

carnegie is not the best town in the county cuz people like to jump you in carnegie they dont know how to fight one-on-one and they have nowhere to sit down and relax and eat some decent food like bbq.......CARNEGIE IS WHACK

OK! listen everybody it does not matter which town you live in there will be trouble,lol. But Carnegie is a nice place. I do have friends that live there, and MT.View. Yes, I do live in Ft.Cobb,so what.

The only good thing about Carnegie now is the cheap movie theatre and the Show Dogs, LOL

I grew up in carnegie and it was the best town to grow up in,that was 35 years ago. I go back every year because I have lots of family and history there. It has changed but so have we, I live in Illinois now and it may be prettier as far as scenery but I have never felt more at home than Carnegie. The people in Carnegie or just in Oklahoma are by far the friendliest people that you will ever meet. The problem with the small towns now are the drugs and the drinking that they do because there is nothing else to do and that happens everywhere. I just hope that the parents do all they can to keep their kids involved in their life and keep them busy with positive activities. It's not the bad people that make a community its the ones that are involved.

Yeah. Your right. There really isn't anything to do in a small town. And that's why people start doing drugs and drinking early in their lives.

i dont know. carnegie is ok, but there are better places for your family. i know the place well and all the girls get pregnant at 16, the boys are all fighting and drinking, the winos are on main street and texico bothering people, and the park and spill over in the park is used by people doing drugs and drinking. most of the people i know from c-town cannot get away because there is no work and they are 30 yr old alchoholics and are constantl in jail. the forth of july dance is the only good part besides the movue theater, but the 49 is dangerous.

Carnegie is the absolute worst place in Okla. God gave the world an ennema, and it is Carnegie.
