I do think JC has done alot for the little town. However, he is not the one person who has ever done anything for the town. People seem to forget that Billy Medley is the one who started the Homecoming. When he was mayor, the homecoming was huge. Lots of people came, there was alot of things for people to do, and several things for the kids to enjoy.
The town looks good and it looks clean. But when the homecoming comes around now you can see that it is failing. That was a big money maker for the town, now it just seems like a yard sale.
I really believe that new people need to be appointed and try to take pride in what they are doing. It is heart breaking to see the crowd getting smaller and smaller each year. I'm hoping this year it will be better.

Yes I was there and I was very impressed with the wonderful job J.C. and Lynn Tatum did in making Livingston come alive, And the warm reception Given by the Livingston staff and its funny though how local politicians tried to cash in on what the good folks at livingsto worked so hard to acheive, with no help from the aforesaid POLITICIANS SUCK!!!!!!

To just saying. Why don't you join the Homecoming Committee and help make the Homecoming great. They beg for volunteers to help all the time and can't get anyone to help. There is not enough volunteers to do all the jobs that needs to be done to put a Homecoming on. It takes lots of volunteers and money of which we don't have enough of either.
Everyone on the committee believes they need new people but getting them is another thing. No one wants to work that hard for nothing.

Clean and neat the town was. Tell me this, how come it cannot look like that all the time. Why is the only time it looks good is when the gov. is coming to town. He must not have stayed long enough to see the dopies running around town. All the stray dogs running a muck. Not to mention the drug deal by people standing in the street and passing cars. Another thing is mayor JC should not get any credit for anything that happens with this trail. he has not done much for it. On second thought, maybe he can use some grant money they get for the trails to refurbish his restaurant or some more of his property. maybe he can start him a bicycle shop.

Maybe the committee should sell chances to win pills imagine the money you would raise 2013 you would have loads of money to work with.

friend of a friend, you're probably right about selling chances on pills they would have more money than they would know what to do with, That is terrible what this world has come too. The only thing you can make money on is selling drugs,

Include Livingston in that too, we never get any money from any one. Let's remember all of our elective officials when election time comes around.

Few people did a LOT of work....the mayor has fought Ms. Tatum the whole way, whiners whined about the "park" getting cleaned up, they whined about the monument being moved, even though it looks much more respectable, they whined about a rock that was much MORE awesome when it was just a rock! There are garbage cans everywhere in that town and the losers just throw their trash on the ground inches from the cans....It's pitiful the way that town looks, I am glad the governor saw it cleaned up although it was only temporary. I just hope now that this Trail Town is in motion that we can have a town to be proud of and dare I say some auditing into the towns finances?

Daily Horoscope for May 20

Taurus

If a friend has been bugging you recently, you are likely to have a few sharp words with them today. However, least said soonest mended, so don't labour the point or turn them against you. Besides, you have better things to do with your time now, such as taking part in a big gathering of likeminded people or having a long chat with one special person.
