But it's not the oil companies in the US that are responsible for this! Giving retiring exec's 400 million bonuses and claiming Billions in PROFITS every year. It's not their fault that the price of gas is so high. When is this government, which is supposed to represent the citizens, going to put some kind of control on these theives. Gouging is supposed to be against the law. The price of everything is in direct proportion to the price of energy.

You know what I kinda like the way you act Mr.Oakie. I usually disagree with a lot of people from Oklahoma but it sounds like you know a little bit more than I do. So I wanna say that I have credit for you but also remember it aint over yet because if Alaska wants a little power in oil they just might overcome their basics of oppurtunitie.

Trust me, I'm sure the folks in Alaska, would love to drill for oil. Plus, the higher the price of 1 barrel goes up, so does gasoline all grades. Trust me, if we see $200 for 1 barrel of oil, it would be $6.00 a gallon for unleaded maybe more.

Okay, now let's go for $200 per barrel.
Let's all pray to Allah for affordable fuel cell cars before gas hits $400 per barrel.

Just another excuse to rip us off some more. One refinery that produces only a tiny fraction of gas production is a reason to jack up the prices once again. And just to bolster this greedy excuse, they are "afraid" something might happen, so up goes the price. Pure BS!

If oil were $1,000 per barrel your plastic keyboard would cost 10 x times as much. But I get your point about people not being lazy if you mean they would have to walk to work.

The so-called Greenies have been promoting BioDiesel but as it turns out, Biodiesel pollutes worse than regular gasoline. It also makes your exaust smell like fried chicken.

You wish it would pollute the air. There are many people working to make our lives a lot easier, than giving all our money to the oil company.
