Anybody else happen to notice the high incidence of cancer in Big Spring? Adults and children alike.....I know of at least 5 or 6 cancer patients from the last couple of years on Baylor and Fenn streets including 3 brain tumor patients, 1 breast cancer, and 1 leukemia patient.

There HAS to be a reason........why is nobody investigating this??

PLEASE HELP!!!

Agree. In fact, I know of two cases of brain tumors in the last two years related to truck drivers making daily runs between Stanton, TX and Dallas, TX. Seems those chemical plants in Big Springs area may be a problem. Right, this should be investigated but don't expect much from your sleazy Republican gov't in bed with business here in TX.

Cancer in the oil and farming industries are blossoming in Big Spring and West Texas in general. Lives matter little here compared to profits. Bush stripped the State EPA to a skelton crew while he was Governor and the Federal EPA is not staffed to handle the vast problems in our state. Never drink water from the tap here, get a special filter for bathing and stay clear of cotton farms when they spray.

We reported issues in Crane about 15 years ago. CDC looked at the numbers-by putting Crane in with the entire Permian Basin. That diluted the numbers so there "was no problem" in Crane. Of course, that didn't explain 15 people in 2 city blocks of town being treated for cancer or died from cancer in 2 months time.

Go to the CDC gov website to get actual statistics on cancer in your area. Always research before assuming it is higher than anywhere else.

Personally I believe the increase is due to all of the drug pushing doctors that don't really know what they are doing. The last time I went to the dr, I had an earache. No fever indicating I had an infection. The dr. told me it was red, but she would give me antibiotics "just in case" and also wanted me to take an anti-histamine to dry me out, that "maybe" that would help.

Needless to say, I went to the lady I purchase herbal remedies from, she candled my ear and I was all better. I take only natural herbs for illnesses and I don't eat any processed foods.

What you put into your body makes a huge impact on your health 30 years down the road. Don't try to pass it off on someone else when it's your job to take care of your body.

Is it possible they are diagnosing cancer where before they just said the person died of natural causes? I am not trying to be funny. I just lost my husband at 54 two years ago.
