Anderson shoots a kid 8 times and the victim's gun turns out to be a gun that should be in the evidence locker with the police department...nothing fishy here!

Maybe they should give him a desk job...

The kid had a gun get over it. A federal judge said the lawsuit was baseless.

Regardless of the results of the fong case and the dv incident.
I don't feel totally comfortable with this guy out on patrol. Hopefully there's some cushy airport duty or something for this guy.
Just not on the streets for a bit.

Don't worry, there will be another problem for him, sooner or later. He's over-aggressive, and is lucky to still be a cop. He's a walking lawsuit for the city of Minneapolis, and they know lawsuits better than anyone.

We have a problem in the Twin Cities, and it wears a blue uniform and black robes. Ten days ago a mentally unstable man concluded that he couldn't get justice from our police and the judicial system, and when he got himself in a jam he believed executing the Maplewood officer about to arrest him was his best alternative.
The family of young Mr. Fong has learned that the system is stacked against justice when the cops control the evidence and protect their own. Every two bit convict in Minnesota has put these realities together. They may be low-lifes, but they aren't stupid.
It's been proven in blood countless times over that with no justice there will be little peace. The failure of Mr. Fong's case didn't end a war between the cops and our underclass, and the tragic slaying of Sgt. Bergeron isn't going to end it either. Our failure as a community has been our unwillingness to admit that these cases are connected, and that more needless deaths will continue until we demand a change. A sizable portion of our population sees the police and the penal system as its mortal enemy. It's going to be a long, hard summer.

Mr. Anderson is now free to uphold the finest traditions that have cost Minneapolis dearly. I feel sorry for the dedicated and hard working Minneapolis cops who have to live with the long standing bad reputation caused by officers like Mr. Anderson, Charlie Storlie (who tried to kill another cop with a submachine gun) and others who have cost the City millions. This story makes me very thankful to be a Saint Paul boy who avoids Minneapolis whenever possible.

Don't mention Sergeant Bergeron in the same breath as Anderson. They are about as different as possible. The world lost an outstanding man when Joe Bergeron was murdered.

"It feels good to be vindicated," the officer said in a statement released by his father, Steven Andersen. "I'm anxious to get back to work and serve the citizens of Minneapolis and the Minneapolis Police Department administration with pride."

SCARY!

He'll unleash hell..........on poor minorities of course!
The anger will be put upon the citizens of Minneapolis.

This time he'll be more cockier since he got away with
it many times before and still has a job.

Good luck citizens......hope he isn't the one you meet
working on the streets that day!!!!

The rotting apple is still amongst the law we are
suppose to trust and obey......scary yes!

I wish this dumb ass cop would replace the Maplewood cop who was shot last week.

This is one bad apple that doesn't need to be ass back in the barrel.

What does harming his kids have anything to do with this?

So if some ex-con smokes this officer Anderson do we have to shut down I94 while 2000 cops show up in their police cruisers and parade around while being paid by taxpayers, driving police cruisers full of taxpayer paid gasoline, and acting like some war hero died with all their saluting and parading around?

Daily Horoscope for June 1

Sagittarius

You're in a highly emotional state today, Archers, but what you want may not be what others are after. Jupiter is out of favor, so don't be tempted to insist that you get your own way, or that you are somehow a special case. Work in harmony with loved ones, and all will be well.
