I am curious if anyone knows or has seen the older men in the red Toyota truck with handicap plates sneaking around the dumpsters at the Big Island location? This man has confronted me numerous times, followed me to my home and has been seen sitting in the bushes watching people at those dumpsters. He is always being rude and bossy and will never address himself as an employee of Allied Waste or Bedford County. I am asked him numerous times if he works for either place and he threatens me and writes down my tag number? This is scary as a female that someone can do these things and not even tell me who he is or what authority he has. I called the law when it happened Wednesday night I was putting some old banisters, steps, etc. in the big open dumpster when he confronted me and again was rude would not tell me his name, title or authority and was told his last name was Whorley, I contacted both Allied Waste & Bedford County Solid Waste and was told his wife was the attendant, but not him. Why is people allowed to go around bossing, threatening other people and then refuse to identify themselves or verify their authority to do so. As a woman I find this very scary and a threat to a small nice community such as Big Island. I have also been told that this person takes all the lawnmowers, appliances and fixes them and resales them..... but is sure quick to tell you not to pick up one thing and what you can and cannot put in a dumpster. Come on! Does anyone know this man or have you experienced what I am tlaking about?
