kids these days are smarter...they don't see color! they know it's what's inside that counts. the soul a person...not the color of their skin! sounds like no matter how old you get to be, you will remain prejudice. that is sad...look beyond yourself...or can see that far? we are all God's children...black, white, asian, mexican, etc...it don't matter...He loves us all, He does not discriminate....why can't you do the same?

I agree with you just so you know. We ARE all the same no matter our skin color. Think on this, If something happened to you & you needed an organ to save your life, would you turn it down because it came from a white/black person? When that person choose to become an organ donor they didn't see color on the life they one day will save...Do we not breath the same air or bleed the same color blood? Have you ever heard the saying love comes in different forms including color?

Ladies and gentlemen...please direct your attention to your dearest black male friend. Ask him a question. Ask him why he wants a white girl. Did you do it? And did he say that he likes her personality or the way she laughs?

I didn't think so.

Before you begin throwing the race card around, remember that in today's society and this town in particular, it is a status symbol for a black male to have slept with a white female. It shakes the girl's family and causes a general stir in town.

If it was as simple as a black man and a white girl dating, falling in love, and making a family together, it would be no different than any other couple. The idiots looking for just the thrill are preventing the acceptance of it for the rest of them.

Blame the thrill-seeking "pimps," not the people that get pissed about the aftermath.
So you think

Then wouldn't it be up to the young lady to determine who is sincere in his dealings with her? Black or White shouldn't she be smart enough and have enough self confidence to be particular about who she sleeps with. Young men Black or White are interested in the same thing.....sex. There is no status symbol in having slept with a White girl as you would suggest, that is only a myth in your community.

I have 2 boys that at one point had black girlfriends. I did not see the color, my only concern was that they treet the girls with respect. It makes no diference what color or nationality the girl/boy is.It's how they treet the girls they are with ,that is all I care about. I have taught my children to respect people, not color...

Well, Yankee doodle you are wrong. I have two girls and one is married to a black. They have been married for ten years and have a little girl. It's not the color you date/marry , it's the person.

It's good to know that you know who I am. Let's see, I am not from around here, not even from this state. Nobody around here knows me but yet you do. How funny is that? I refuse to comment any longer and stoop to your level. Have a great life and keep on keepin on. God loves you too...

I grew up in this town and gladly moved away. I have been married to a black man for 17 years. Life is great. He is so good to me and is actually educated and makes a 6 figure salary. I bet all of you prejudice people dont. If you did you would be smart enough not to post something so rediculous. Trust me, the rest of the world is very excepting and can see u as a couple. You need to get out more and maybe get a black friend.

I can handle the black and white issue, but going out and seeing gays holding hands and kissing in public. That is where I draw the line. That isn't right by no means.

A poor white girl from a broken home, run aways, crack heads, low self esteem etc! Pray for these uneducated girls that need God and therapy!!!
Most of them end up pregnant with a sickle cell negro baby and food stamps! It is sad that they have no morals, class or Southern hertiage.

excuse me but i grew up in the heart of South Carolina and it has nothin to do with class, heritage etc. God made all of us and He loves us equally. Love is blind. Any race can love any other race and it shouldnt be wrong on any level. But, i have to say i disagree with gay relationships. That isnt right.

Daily Horoscope for January 8

Leo

Why are you still fighting, Leo? Everyone else went home a long time ago, but you're still here pounding your fists on the table. Although you don't want to admit it, accepting defeat may be your most practical option at this point. Sometimes it's just easier to move on than to keep up the fight. When you're forced to restructure, at least you have a chance to redefine. YouÕl get the opportunity to start with a clean slate, so use it to your advantage.
