The Columbus office of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which investigated Gunsorek, is a tenant in his building at 170 N. High St.

Wondered how they found them?

Immagine what ICE could find if they left the office.

One has to wonder, whether you're for or against illegals in this country, why this man? Why is he being prosecuted when there are thousands in this area employing illegal aliens?

Lets have the story about the llegal aliens... isnt that what they are? If he owes them money, let him off the hook. Arrest the illegal aliens, and ship them back to wherever, without anything! Those illegals are keeping real americans from worjking. The illegals are vermin!

Good! Now, what will happen to the illegals? ARE THEY DEPORTED? If not, they will continue to find other jobs and paid 'under the table.' Is there any follow-up on this story? Gunsorek and son needs to pay "whom" $516,000.00?? Not the Illegals! Where does that money go? Since Gunsorek did not hire Citizens for the jobs, who gets the $516,000.00????

Did you miss the part about the man being not only a cheat for paying less than legal wage for the illegals he employs? Or how about the part where he is illegally employing illegal aliens. Or the part where he is keeping part of the money the illegals are working for? Yikes the illegals should go home so they can get paid at least for the hours they do work!

I have a friend who immigrated here legally 10 years ago with his wife and 2 kids and is now a legal tax paying citizen of the US and he cannot get a job in his field which is landscaping because of all of the illegals who are doing it under the table for less than the owners would have to pay him to do the same job. And Guess What? He wants the illegals deported too! He came here legally and thinks they all should. WOw what a concept.

I have a neighbor who was born in the US and his parents were and their parents were and their parents were, and this young man cannot get a construction job because crooked contractors like you buddy here in this article will not hire someone they have to pay legally!!!

I am glad i am not your friend. I hang out with really nice people. Who work for a living and pay their taxes and raise their kids and never steal from anyone.

Maybe you should reconsider who you consider a friend so your kids don't follow your example and hang out with crooks.

For the record, im not condoning the hire of illegal aliens. U make valid points. But to say he deserves to be thrown in jail is a little much. An opportunity to pay back those that may have been affected is(in my opinion) just. Didnt mean to ruffle any feathers.

The Gunsoreks ARE sound business men and good family men. They also give back to the community. They have worked very hard for everything they have earned...nothing has been given to them. Despite what "Enough is Enough" said, they are not "crooks." Not even close.

This is a sad example of selective prosecution.

ICE can't leave their offices it requires effort to actually earn their paychecks instead of sitting back doing nothing like the officeholder in Washington.

There's so much "wrong" in this story it's hard to know where to start!

First, they are not "undocumented workers." They are illegal aliens who have violated our laws and are living and working here illegally. Deport them. Now.

Next, the schnook that hired them should be put in jail. I don't care how many defenders he has here, no doubt he knew they were illegals, he hired them, and he got caught. Sorry, but you're busted!

Finally, "prevailing wage" is yet another reason that America is going down the tubes. Why should government decide what anybody gets paid? Every "minimum wage" and prevailing wage law should be scrapped. When our we going to realize that all this government regulation is what is holding our economy back?
