We shouldn't think the system failed this thug. But he failed to do what was required of him to stay out of prison.
Unless he is struck by a bolt of lightening that finally gets his attention a couple of years in kiddie lock up isn't going to work and we will see him committ more crime and maybe kill someone else and next time not one of his "buddies". How many "chances" do these young thugs get?
