It is about time this was passed. It is painfully cruel. Only folks who make money on performing surgery would be the most likely to support this.

Let the veterinarians do their job: They know what is safe and humane for felines. Declawing is not harmful when done by a skilled surgeon. With today's pain treatments, the cats are comfortable and heal quickly. Your cat wants consistancy; not a loving owner who turns into a screaming maniac when they start clawing up the furniture. Many owners turn cats into shelters for destruction of furniture. Give kitty a loving, peaceful home.
