Whatever Jaycee had to do to stay alive - no one should ever second guess her, my feeling is she has the spirit and raw intelligence to overcome, just as the Austrian girl(s) did/are doing.

BUT - Getting a little suspect now about that part of CA - first the Tracy pd let Melissa Huckaby off the hook for drugging kid(s) then she rapes and kills Sandra Cantu ALLEGEDLY, now this PD dropped the ball repeatedly... HOW MANY OTHER JAYCEE'S ARE THERE? Perhaps an independent AUDIT of all the Meagan's law perps is in order - except the law itself IS ON HOLD NOW - as it is being challenged.

Deputy Fife was probably within 20 feet of this kidnapped woman's makeshift cell but did not have the instinct to check it out or get a warrant on this known pervert with a criminal record for being one. What kind of standards do they set down there for being a police officer? Negligence by Law Enforcement can be truly dangerous sometimes, especially in this case.

it is obvious a lot of really bad things are hapening over there but who does anything about it? who care, really?

This is a perfect example of why sex offenders and rapists should never be let loose in Society. They should be locked away forever as If this excuse for a human would have been locked up Jaycee would have never been kidnapped.
