What has anyone done to lower the price of gas? To target a person
because of the party he's affiliated with is ridiculous.

The article states it ... the Dem voted for a reduction when gas was less than half what it is now ... and the Right Wing says he's against it?

Now, you have Bush vetoing anything that might help the real people who are hurting (and had to spend the money might have invested in Exxon stock on feeding their families), and the Senate being filibustered almost daily by the Republican party (who wanted to eliminate the filibuster a few years back), and Joe Lieberman campaigning for the position of McCain's #1 ass-kisser, and Republicans throwing billions of dollars at megainvestors and giving tax breaks to the oil companies ... and the right-wingers and Repukes say it's the Dems' fault???

Okay, about drilling in ANWR ... since the U.S. owns the land, then the oil belongs to the U.S. citizens.

Would the oil companies be so excited about drilling for the oil there if it was nationalized? I mean, it's the people's land, so it's the people's oil, not the oil companies'... otherwise, the Repugniconvicts are just giving the oil away to the oil companies ... and that will be shipped off to Japan, along with the rest of the oil already going through the Alaskan pipeline ...

Robo calls are useless, other than getting press coverage.

As I testified at the U.S. Senate this February, robo calls are an epidemic and are invading the privacy of All American Voters.

Our members are taking a stand and saying enough is enough at the National Political Do Not Contact Registry at StopPoliticalCalls.org .

Here is a quote from a member this morning:

"I find it very frustrating... I tend to get calls at the WORST time. I have a one year old daughter, and it NEVER fails that the phone will ring when I put her down for a nap or for bed. Also my vote is PRIVATE... so who do you think you are calling with a survey to find out who I am voting for!!! Stop calling me."
