This seriously made it on the blog for Bertrand?! Wow, talk about outing myself! I'm not sure how I feel about this. I mean when I come home now I always get "funny looks" at me and no one will talk to me. Heck, even my parents tell me that they get some sort of grief over me being gay. And it's no wonder to me that Bertrand is losing population because Bertrand does indeed have an unwelcoming atmoshpere.

hey...you should know that I'm from the area and I can understand why you're uneasy. Just know that you have been true to yourself and have been a great comfort to other people who read that article and probably face the same issues all the time. When you do what you do and respect other people that's all anyone can ask of you. I hope you and your family have risen above the rest of the world...they don't matter anyways!
