community dance

just wondering if anyone would be interested in attending a community dance? sorry no alcohol will be permitted. let me what your feelings are on this.

Lee & Larry Hufford would like to envite everyone to the Monday Night Dance at the Bernie Community Center. The first dance will be on July 6th, 2009. The dance will start at 6:30 pm and go until 9:30 pm. Everyone welcome.$4.00 cover charge. Come and enjoy dancing or just listening to Lee & Larry singing some of our (and hopefully yours too) favorites. We have been performing in the SEMO area for about 12 years. We mainly sing a lot of old and new country, 50/60/70's, with some bluegrass mixed in. We do take requests if we don't know them then we try to learn them before the next Monday Night Dance. You don't have to be just from the Bernie area. All areas are welcome. What about sodas and snacks?

we are planning on taking a large cooler full of sodas and bottled water. we are just trying to get it started so we don't know how much of everything we need yet or what the people are going to ask for. hopefully it won't take long to get everything worked out.

Will you play David Alan Coe If that aint country if you will. I will make sure to be their.

Are kids allowed to come?

It is open to all ages. We do ask that an adult be with the children and not just drop them off. We do ask that if you have small children that you not just let them run all over the place. We used to do dances about ten years ago and there was a five year old that came and he could dance a well as any adult.There is a $4.00 admission charge.

Can you play "if the south would've won we a had it make" by Hank Williams Jr.

We don't normally do that one but I see no problem in trying to learn it. We like Hank Jr and and Sr too.

The first dance seemed to go real well. Thanks to everyone that came. The dance floor is real easy to dance on. They people are great. Everyone was very friendly. Looking for to this coming Monday night. Thanks again for making us so welcome.

there was a good crowd but it would be nice to have more men to come. there was a lot of very nice people to talk and dance with. i'm looking forward to this coming monday.

I reckon this public dancing is about the most exciting prime time activity we have had in town. I can't wait till Monday!

I went last Monday. I met a lot of real nice people and got some good exercise (dancing) too. I'm going too.

Well it's Monday. We are looking forward to meeting some new friends at the dance tonight. If you know or talk to anyone that enjoys good music and dancing please tell them about the Community Dance at the Bernie Community Center (across the road from the Bernie water tower). Everyone is welcome, you don't have to be just from Bernie. Come out, have a good time and meet some real nice people. We start at 6:30 pm and go until 9:30 pm. The only break we take is to give some free passes.

Get the Bernie homeless stripper to dance.......Then you'll draw a crowd!

It would be nice if there were singles there as well. It was only couples.
