My ultimate favorite has to Mr. Turner, but let's not leave out Mrs.Keathley, Mrs.Beachum, and OK I am going to tell my age one this one, but Mr. Tippen, 5th grade, ranked right up there with Mr. Turner.

Mr. Turner - no doubt - I still think about the trivia items he told us "just in case you're ever on Jeopardy" and his Welcome Back Kotter coffee cup. School was much better because he was a part of it.

I love Mr. Turner!! Turner's Top 10, it was my GOAL to get my name up there!! You could also do bulletin boards for bonus points..it was probably the only class that I didn't NEED bonus points in! lol I also loved Mrs. Hawley and her cigarette voice!! Nobody rocked the Aqua Net and blue eye shawdow like her!! She was just a nice person and I think of her often.

lets face it, there seems to be several of us who were touch and blessed by the Bernie's finest. There is never a day that goes by that these teachers influence is not a part of my life and help me direct me. Hopefully, I can be as big of an inflence in the lifes that deal with as they have been in my life. If I am not mistaken, that was their goal as a teacher. Great Job Bernie teachers. You had a much bigger impact than you ever knew.

In Elementary I loved Mrs. York, her class was so fun. As far as high school, I was only fortunate enough to have Mr. Turner as a substitute, but Janice Tanner and Mr. Boles get my vote for my favorites!

The 2 teachers who made the biggest impact on my life were Mrs. Dawson and Mr. Turner. Absolutely the best in my book. There have been many good teachers at Bernie, but these two are absolutely the tops in my book.

With our approaching reunion...this is a timely post. Mr. Turner was by far one of the best teachers I have ever had the privilege of studying under. His hilarious sense of humor brought teaching to a new level. Janice had an influence on me as well as did all of the teachers at BHS. Mrs. Beacham..i gave her a hard time, but did enjoy her class. But the best times were breaking in the new rookie Ag teacher...lol. Barely older than we were and man did we give him grief. And although she was not a teacher...Mrs. Elsie Pointer was a wonderful lady that I remember from my first days at Bernie Elementary..giving us Spanish lessons in the 6th grade. Sometimes we don't realize what kind of impact they had on us any more than they do. To all of the past and present teachers at Bernie R-XIII...thank you for everything

Mr. Turner was a great teacher, as well as Janice Tanner (I know she had some attitude, but a good teacher), and Eric Boles. Mrs. Dirks was one of the smartest women I know, but she talked to students as if they were in their 4th year of college, not high school.
Also a class of 1988

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Pisces

You're lacking in energy and resources today, which will soon slow you down and make you feel as though you're wading through treacle. The only way to cope is to have as many breaks as possible, and not to set yourself impossible goals that you could never hope to meet. You're also very susceptible to the criticisms or put-downs of others, but do your best to ignore them.
