Was the school corp wrong for trying to dig up dirt on someone who was coming at them with loaded guns turning everyone in Berne against them? Probably, but as we all know...the truth will always come out and for Mr. Pries, it did.

I am part of HER extended family, sir.....I have seen many things in my several years around, most recently during this "investigation". And as far as me placing my name up there, is that the same reason you DO NOT either???? It is good to know that he has you fooled as well, STAR MAN! And give Chesterton, Wabash and Frankfort a call....I am sure that they can tell you a little more.

I have seen both sides - legal documents - Mr Pries may have a "history" of incidents - but I am willing to give this man a second chance - with limitations - fo course and with a Biblical base. We must forgive and forget according to God's Holy word. We must pray for our leaders and our enemies....so what if they are the same person -- be big enough to take the challengs....God will reward you in the end.....isn't that what life is all about?

yes the superintendent should definetly go!!She does not help the children or their families at all. My family has tried for over 1 year to get her to return calls.Something doesn't seem right with that picture. I believe she is a troublemaker.

Yes the superintendent should go. My family has been waiting for over 1 year for her to return phone calls.She is not interested in the children at all, and we do not need someone like her in this capacity. People in other school systems are laughing at our school. It just seems to really have went down hill since they hired her.She only wants to deal with perfect children and there are none.We have achild with health issues and she is not willing to work with us. Something is not right with this picture.

I am clueless as to what realy happened but if this man is being charged for something against south Adams students I feel It isn't something to play around with and give him another chance over. i again say I don't know any of the facts.

I am glad to see him go! I have children at SA Schools and I feel the investigation needs to continue beyond just Pries, Baker and Cunningham. I'm sure more than just the coaching staff knew about it! I'm sure the priciples knew!

It is about time...given his past work which was unorganized and poor...seeing him at events just creeped me out.

Should have happened at his last hearing. What is wrong with our school board!!

Take a look back through the comments...all these people taking up his torch. I have always believed where there is smoke there is fire. Glad he is gone. The real mistake by SA is that they did not prosecute him...just sent him on his merry way to abuse again. Shame on SA.

This only took what?...too long that's what!!!! Its amazing how something of this magnitude can go on for so long. Graduates from 2007-2012 are involved...half a decade. People need to open their eyes. SA needs to get it together. My kids will be attending a new school!!!

BERNE, Ind.(WANE)- Back in March South Adams Athletic Director Mike Pries was placed on administrative leave and banned from school grounds.

For months the public looked for an answer, and now we know why Pries' job was in question.

According to the fact finding document, in 2008, South Adams Superintendent Cathy Egolf was contacted by a Softball Coach at Wabash High School, where Pries used to work.

That coach was concerned that Pries was employed by South Adams Schools. The document states, Pries allegedly attempted to touch and kiss a Wabash student during his time of employment.

It also states,Pries allegedly bought alcohol and a car for that same student. Pries says he never engaged in any inappropriate behavior with any student.

The document also shows, during his time at the Community Schools of Frankfort, Pries was investigated for having alleged inappropriate contact with female students.

According to the document, in 2008 a student and a South Adams' parent accused Pries of engaging in a sexual relationship with a former student.

The Berne Police Department investigated the allegation, but the former student and Pries denied it. The detective could not prove the allegation was true.

Pries was also accused of poor job performance and failure to make necessary improvements.

Ultimately, the alleged misconduct in Wabash was more than seven years ago, and the Board says Pries could not be terminated for it.

The alleged sexual relationship with a former South Adams student was never proven.

And the job performance allegations were not considered insubordination or neglect of duty.

NewsChannel 15 asked Pries if he thought the community would look at him the same way?

"I think so there's always going to be some doubters and I think that's with anybody that's in the public eye, but I want the focus to get back on our kids and our student athletes," said Mike Pries, South Adams Athletic Director.

Pries has been back to work for a week.

I have a friend on Facebook that was saying that she kept on seeing Pries post on her wall, and she didn't even know who he was. Then he started to message her, and gave his phone number to her. Now, he also gave his number to one of my friends, which may I also say that my friend: is not enrolled in South Adams high school and is also a freshman. I decided to reverse-look up the phone number and it matched to Berne,IN; thinking that it could have been a pre-paid number. I also looked up information about him to see if it matched his Facebook information. Which turned out to match up perfectly. So if people are going to claim that someone is impersonating him, you are full of crap.
Pries is also active everyday on his Facebook account. I obtained all of this information 100% legally, and provided my friend with the information if she wishes to report it.
