IsThere EVER a Good Excuse to Hit a Woman?

Another thread made me wonder about this...is there ever a situation where a man could smack a woman once in the mouth. Not with a closed fist, just a smack across the face. And not be thought of as a monster?

I understand that it isn't legal, and I am in no way advocating doing it. I'm talking about discussing the morality of it. Don't misunderstand. I'd just like to see a discussion about this subject, because honestly...I am seeing women losing all femininity. They are incredibly aggressive and frankly abusive with the screaming and sometimes shoving. They post videos of themselves brawling like thugs, and they're proud of it.

So...how's a man supposed to know a lady anymore?

I am a woman and a good size one and if I smacked a guy, it would hurt. I definitely believe that if you won't want a man to hit you, you shouldn't hit him or you deserve the same. Unless, of course, he is calling you disgusting things, c word, etc.

Now guys hitting a woman upside the face without her hitting him, no. I don't support that. Why? It goes to manners. Its accepted that if a man speaks badly to a woman that he is either going to get smacked or another guy is going to knock the crap out of him. If a woman is running her mouth, the guy can simply walk away and the woman is left looking nuts. Now, if she was behaving a certain way and you couldn't get the law there and kids were involved, I would take her into another room and give her a little knock in the mouth to at least shut her up long enough to spare the children.

I'm a woman, and I have to say...I have seen a good, patient man just browbeaten for years by woman that was just nuts, and the man never so much as raised his voice. I think the woman honestly drove him to an early grave. He had a heart attack in his fifties.

Right or wrong...just talking about feelings...I honestly feel that if he had slapped her in the mouth just one time, she would have been so startled she'd have come to her senses and maybe his stress might have eased up and maybe they might have had a chance at decent marriage. Some women just browbeat a man unmercifully. And when a man isn't yelling back, just sitting quietly, it's really pitiful to watch. It isn't right.

In college a fight broke out at a bar between 2 women & my girlfriend at the time got in the way of the 2 classy women "fighting" or hair pulling. I guess it was one of their friends thought my GF was on the side of one of the fighters. So her & her fat friend came at my GF running their mouths & asking if she wanted "her ass beat"? She apologized to them & said she wasn't involved & just trying to get out of the way. They pressed the issue & basically surrounded her. I stepped in & told the skanks to back off as my GF told them she wasn't involved in the hair pulling. The fat one backed down but the other only got more pissy & started trying to get past me. I was basically holding her back from my GF whom was standing with her friends wondering WTF was happening. The bouncers were dealing with the other 2 hair pullers, so I was on my own. I'm 6'4" 250, so it wasn't as if I was struggling. The girl starts screaming get your fucking hands off me as if I was coming at her. She stops & backs away. I tell her shes a crazy bitch & then she pounces on me like a spider monkey screaming & swinging her arms. The bouncers came over & grabbed her. She was kicking & screaming saying I attacked her. Out of nowhere this big redneck looking dude comes up to me & asks what my problem was & I told him basically what happened. He says & I quote. "I done told that bitch she better pipe down in da club" he then walks up and slaps her across the face while the bouncers were still dragging her out. This started a pier 6 brawl like I'd never seen. It was like a damn movie.

Not sure if that was a good reason to hit a woman or not but I loved e Rey second of it!

I am a woman, and I believe that if a woman attacks a man, like a lot of these trashy little tramps do these days, she is asking to get hit back. A man should never be expected to tolerate a woman beating on him, anymore than a woman should be expected to tolerate a man beating on her.

Otherwise the answer is no, it is not acceptable.

I am not making a joke. You shouldn't hit a spouse, get divorced first. I have been married 25 years and my parents married 60. I respect marriage but not abusers.

If I walked in on a woman laying hands on a child or elderly person that can't defend themself I'll probably do something I wouldn't regret later.. There's always a situation where u would have to lay hands on a woman or even a priest. Noone touches my child or my grandparents regardless of what's under their legs.

If u get with a bad woman and she can push your buttons or miss treats your or assaults you first then yes there are grounds for it . Is it write ? No ! But the whole sitiuation isnt write so if im a woman and im getting the hell beat out of me for doing obsence things then i wouldnt do those things and just get away if i was that feared for my saftey . But you cant always take the womans word for the things they say. If they give you a story like i was doing laundry and dishes and my bf came in and beat my ass im goinna think that dont make sense
