Great job to the girls varsity cheerleaders from JB!!!! And great job to Tracy for getting the girls to do this!!!! now if we could get other sports groups from jb to do something worth wild and community organized would be a miracle because most of the kids at jb have no respect for people let alone the homeless and hungry!! way to go girls varsity cheerleaders that is great news and be proud of what u did but dont make it a one time deal!!!

2 A violation o church and state? So now school kids can't have compassion for their fellow man for fear of violating someone's political viewpoints about separation of church and state (or in your opinion, church and school)? Rev. Murphy wasn't preaching a sermon in the classroom. Would you have hollered as much if Islamic exremists were passing out food to the hungry? Now that would have been poitically incorrect wouldn't it? |

Grumy sence when church and state has anything to do with helping someone in need. You Must be one be that don't belive in helping the one's in need shame on you some day when you need a heping hand you may not receive it |

Sorry you didn't get that I was being sarcastic. This is a great story. The girls are to be congratulated. I was just trying t stir up the anti-religion leftist that float around here bothering people who love their country and cling to their religion.

Good job to Tracy and the JB cheerleaders. It's nice to read a POSITIVE story in the paper for once. You girls are doing something great, keep up the good work:)

1 You were fine until you painted all JB kids with such a broad brush and bashed them for not being respectful and caring. While there is a segment within any group of teens who demonstrate a lack of respect or thoughtfulness anywhere you go, the majority of kids at JB are great kids who do care, who will lend a helping hand, and who are willing to be there for or serve others in need. Try not to generalize, just as it would not be fair to say everyone from Fort Loudon writes stupid comments on this board. |

Rev Murphy is a gem!! He is a true man of God.
And bless the cheerleaders for being the great help that they were. |
