I am a Berea College student and my fiance is currently renting an apartment in Georgetown where he works. His lease is up in March, and we're planning on renting somewhere in Berea so that I can still be close to campus. I've looked online at some of the apartment complexes in the area, but with no pictures and no definite pricing, I'm turning to the community to help me out.

Obviously we're looking for something reasonable for a college student, and something that we will be able to afford without another roommate. One or two bedrooms would be perfect, but we aren't picky about whether it's an apartment or a small house. We're planning on looking around more at the end of this year to try and find something.

Does anyone know of reputable apartment/home rentals in the area? Furnished, unfurnished, utilities paid, unpaid, actual complexes or just folks renting out properties. Names, locations in relation to the college, contact information, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, guys.

Don Combs eight five nine two hundred 1242 has a lot of rental property. He also has a LOT of money so lots of people on here hate him.

Hager Rental in Richmond, I don't have their number handy, has a lot of rental property in Berea. Mostly appartments.

Hogg Rental eight five nine nine eight six 4757
also has a lot of rental property however not too many people care from them either.

I am sorry to say but most anything you find in Berea is going to have tenent problems. Drugs being the number one issue. Second issue is propery maintenance or the lack there of.

There is a LOT of rental property near the college but it too is plagued with the same problems.

I truly wish you the best.

Thank you! We'll be checking into these sometime soon. We have heard there are a lot of issues in Berea with property maintenance and the like, but we're hoping to find a nice, quiet neighborhood with decent and affordable housing.

Jon DuPuy is the best landlord in Berea and has a few apartments in the area for a reasonable price and only 1 mile from campus. I have rented from him for almost 2 years and he's here when I need him and doesn't bother me when I don't. I DEFINITELY recommend renting from him.

Everyone I know who has rented from Hogg has had a HORRIBLE experience.

There's a guy name Truman who is in City Council that has a lot of homes and apartments.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Capricorn

If you're feeling lonely and vulnerable, it seems as though someone is out to get you. Perhaps you're separated from the people you love and you don't like it. Try not to mope for too long, because there are important things that need your attention. Speaking of which, if you need to do something that you're dreading, you'll feel much better if you can get it out of the way quickly. If you leave it, the very thought of it will drain your energy.
