Darrell Issa has accused the Obama administration as “the most corrupt” in history! This coming from a known felon and habitual liar – Issa has been arrested twice, ones for grand theft auto of a Maserati and ones for illegal possession of a fire arm while driving down a one-way street. He also lied about his military unit providing security for President Richard Nixon, sweeping stadiums for bombs prior to games in the 1971 World Series, and that he received the highest approval ratings during his service. However, a 1998 investigation by the SF Examiner found these claims were not true, since Nixon had not attended any of that year's World Series games. The investigation also discovered that Issa was actually transferred to a supply depot after he received an unsatisfactory evaluation.
So wait, how many American law enforcement officers died from Issa's actions?

Has he gotten any, let alone close to the 200+ Mexican citizens that have been killed by firearms purposefully not tracked by Obama's Fast and Furious program?

As for Issa, ever notice how it's all "allegedly" and dropped due to "lack of evidence"? Yet we know more and actually have reporters asking questions surrounding alleged events from the 1970's, YET we have actual evidence and proven violations of the law that have taken place, with actual evidence...and nary a peep.

I was hoping for something more specific. Youtube has many videos posted, just none that address this particular issue that I can find. Obama has said several times that he is a christian, that he's been saved, that he's taken Jesus Christ as his savior, etc, but nowhere can I find an admission that he is Muslim. His actions don't really reflect Muslim worship, either. No prayer 5 times daily, his diet is very un-Muslim, just things that make you go hmmmm, where do they get that?

During an appearance on "Fox News Sunday," host Chris Wallace asked Issa whether he had "any evidence" that the White House had been involved with the matter.

"No, we don't," Issa said.

The Justice Department's Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives apparently allowed some gun sales in Arizona to known Mexican criminals. Two of the guns involved were found at the scene of a firefight in which U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was killed.

In February 2011, DOJ sent a letter to Congress denying such sales, but retracted that claim in December. It is not clear if either Attorney General Eric Holder or President Barack Obama were aware of the program, and Issa acknowledged Sunday that he has not found evidence Holder was involved.

"I did not say that Eric Holder always knew," Issa said.

In the past five years close to a 100,000 weapons have been recovered from Mexico mostly from drug cartels, of which 70,000 traced back the United States, mostly TX and AZ. The most commonly smuggled firearms include AR-15 and AK-47 type assault rifles as well as FN 5.7 caliber semi-automatic pistols. To claim that one single specific rifle is responsible for the border guards untimely death is absurd and a figment of the sick and conspiracy minded right-wingers! The U.S. government since 1992, primarily through ATF, ICE, Customs and Border Patrol has been assisting Mexico with technology, equipment and training. Project Gunrunner is part of the ATF’s effort to collaborate with the Mexican authorities and its "cornerstone" has been the expansion of eTrace, a computerized system to facilitate tracing guns which were manufactured in or imported legally to the U.S.A. The effort by some right-wingers to pin this somehow on the Obama administration is so far-fetched and absurd it is straight out of a Michael Crichton fiction!

Yeah, I saw the same 'Fox Sunday ' that your talking about and have wondered since then[what, 2 weeks now] if I was the only one watching, because you don't hear any of the conservatives saying, well, let's take a step back and see what's going on, and certainly haven't heard members of conservative legislation musing about lack of proof. Pathetic, they are.

Heard an Obama spokesperson talking about the guns had been purchased legally. He went on to say "could anyone imagine the Republican response to the ATF stopping a person and arresting them because the guns they just bought could go to Mexico".
FauxNews would have had 24 hour coverage on that arrest.

Claiming ignorance seems to be working well for Obama and his gang. Obama has spent 4 years preaching to us how the powerful and intelligent Bush rendered Obama useless as president. Obama can't do a damn thing because Bush was so powerful he stopped Obama in his tracks. That seems to be the excuse and story he is sticking with! lol Now he thinks if he just says he didn't know what he didn't know (pleading ignorance once again) it will all go away. RuhRoh...this year hasn't actually worked out that well for the dems ignorance and powerless excuse. The damage to our country by Obama and Pelosi and Reid is done. The good news...it can all be undone. No excuses. Actions will speak much louder than Obama's words that spin out of control constantly.

Thanks for the hook-up. I appreciate it. I had already seen it, tho, and can see how some folks might be swayed. Not me. When he says,'I know because I am one,' he is clearly referencing the earlier statement 'many Americans have a Muslim background, said just before the first statement I referenced. And clearly he has been close to that religion all his life. But keep in mind, many people go through the same thing everyday with other religions and are no more practitioners than I believe him not to be. Here's why. In the 70's I was stationed in the Middle East and became some-what knowledgeable about the Islam faith and Hindu and Buddhaism. I was 'raised 'a Baptist, yet found far more to embrace with Buddhaism as far as every day life was concerned. Did I turn away from Christianity? No. Why? Because I think that Christianity is a state of 'being' rather than a religion. I can read the Koran and Confucius and the Bible and even embrace them and still be a Christian. Barack Obama has been in church here in this country as long or longer than around the Muslim faith. I've never heard anyone dispute that. His actions and worship habits do not reflect those of a practicing Muslim, nor his eating habits. He loves a cold beer and porkchops. Both are strictly forbidden by the Muslim faith.[That would also exclude me, along with most of the people I know]. There's not enough evidence hear to say, so I'm going to take a wait and see on this one. I would also make another point. Why did the Pilgrims come to this country to begin with? To escape persecution because of their religion. Will you agree with me on that? And what are we all garauntee'd in this country? The freedom to worship as we choose. So if he were a declared Muslim, or Buddhaist, or Hindu or Baptist I wouldn't be looking to that as a way to seperate him from a Mormon or Methodist or whatever. It's policy that matters, and while he's not perfect, in my world he is the lesser of evils. Thanks for your time.

I had the video and so did A L, and it was posted several pages ago. It was the interview one on one where he talks about John McCain and says something to the fact: "You're right, JMcCain never mentioned my 'Muslim faith.' I don't intent to go back and find it, but it's on a Google search. Anyway, I think I deleted it from my files.

The firearms used in the murder of Brian Terry, were those sold to known criminals, under project gunwalker-er, "fast and furious".
According to ATF, Mexico submitted 7,743 firearms for tracing in fiscal year 2008 (which ended Oct. 1) and 3,312 guns in fiscal 2007. And THOSE guns come largely from State Dept sanctioned sales from US gun manufacturers to Mexican authorities, like Sheriff deptarments. Of which, the US state dept estimated about 22%-25% found their way to the black market.
Yet, 50,000 guns were traced to the US in the next few years? B/S. Please site any source for your statement (I won't hold my breath)

Project Gunrunner had NO collaboration with the Mexican authorities, they DID NOT KNOW of its existence according to the Mexican ambassador.(unlike Bush's cancelled gun program) Guns were not tracked, interdicted, etc. They would not be found again till after turning up at Mexican crime scenes http://www.examiner.com/article/mexican-ambas...

Truth is stranger than fiction, such as the two other suspected gunwalking operations based out of the Houston and Dallas field operations areas. Additional gunwalking operations supplied drug gangs in Honduras from Florida, and supplied Chicago-area gangs from a gunwalking operation in Indiana. http://www.examiner.com/article/exclusive-rep...

The fiction that this is all a right wing conspiracy against Obama is wishful thinking. Recent revelations that the ATF supervisors directed agents to personally walk guns to cartel members, and refused repeated attempts by field agents to have smugglers arrested before they could carry firearms over the border into Mexico. Interdiction was never on the table. So, tell me, what was the goal?

So, Holder or some other bureaucrat in the DOJ is supposed to have made a decision sticking his own neck out on the line, w/out someone having given him the order? Does that sound like ANY bureaucrat you've ever heard of?
The White House made this Obama's mess when it implemented Executive Privilege. Though since Executive Privilege applies only to Presidential correspondences....IT will EVENTUALLY (after a long drawn out court battle) come out.

The entire executive branch involved in the scandal, from the White House down through cabinet-level agencies, has been evasive since the congressional investigations began. They have (illegally) fired and reassigned whistleblowers to undesirable posts. They promoted supervisors involved in the operation to management jobs in Washington, D.C.

The continual drip of evidence completely undermines the explanation that these gunwalking operations had any legitimate or lawful intent.

So much for “most transparent administration in history”

Bits and pieces of Romney's life. Short version. Copied:

Well, now that the 2 parties have begun their last 4 months of campaigning,
the spin doctors and BS artists for Obama have been telling
EVERYONE, thanks to all the news outlets, that Romney has gotten rich by
sending jobs to overseas!!!. Well, read the list below and see where the
jobs are for REAL.
.
Personal Information:

His full Name is: Willard Mitt Romney
He was Born: March 12, 1947 and is 65 years old.
His Father: George W. Romney, former Governor of the State of Michigan
He was raised in Bloomfield Hills , Michigan
He is Married to Ann Romney since 1969; they have five children.
Education:
B.A. from Brigham Young University,
J.D. and M.B.A. from Harvard University
Religion:
Mormon - The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints
Working Background:
After high school, he spent 30 months in France as a Mormon missionary.
After going to both Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School
simultaneously, he passed the Michigan bar exam, but never worked as an
attorney.
In 1984, he co-founded Bain Capital a private equity investment firm, one of
the largest such firms in the United States .
In 1994, he ran for Senator of Massachusetts and lost to Ted Kennedy.
He was President and CEO of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.
In 2002, he was elected Governor of the State of Massachusetts where he
eliminated a 1.5 billion deficit.

Some Interesting Facts about Romney:

Bain Capital, starting with one small office supply store in Massachusetts,
turned it into Staples; now over 2,000 stores employing 90,000 people.
Bain Capital also worked to perform the same kinds of business miracles
again and again, with companies like Domino's, Sealy, Brookstone, Weather
Channel, Burger King, Warner Music Group, Dollarama, Home Depot Supply, and
many others.
He was an unpaid volunteer campaign worker for his dad's gubernatorial
campaign 1 year.
He was an unpaid intern in his dad's governor's office for eight years.
He was an unpaid bishop and stake president of his church for ten years.
He was an unpaid President of the Salt Lake Olympic Committee for three
years.
He took no salary and was the unpaid Governor of Massachusetts for four
years.
He gave his entire inheritance from his father to charity.
Mitt Romney is one of the wealthiest self-made men in our country but has
given more back to its citizens in terms of money, service and time than
most men.
And in 2011 Mitt Romney gave over $4 million to charity, almost 19% of his
income.

Mitt Romney is Trustworthy:

Mitt Romney's background, experience and trustworthiness show him to be a
great leader and an excellent citizen for President of the United States.
You may think that Romney may not be the best representative the Republicans
could have selected. At least we know what religion he is, and that he won't
desecrate the flag, bow down to foreign powers, or practice fiscal
irresponsibility. We know he has the ability to turn this financial debacle
that the current regime has gotten us into. We won't like all the things
necessary to recover from this debt, but someone with Romney's background
can do it. But, on the minus side, He never was a "Community Organizer",
never took drugs or smoked pot, never got drunk, did not associate with
communists or terrorists, nor did he attend a church whose pastor called for
God to damn the US.

Snopes explains it in detail mostly all true.

WakeUp, very good post.

Sometime back DBW posted some interesting observations re: the same issues that happened during Bush's administration. But he hasn't been here for awhile. Anyway, I later read something very similar to this:

During Bush they turned out about 300 guns all with traceable chips in them. They did this with the full cooperation of the Mexican government.

Both Mexico and the US were in on this with full cooperation from both sides.

Something went wrong and when those guns were in the hands of the cartel they knew who they were and where the guns were until someone discovered the chip and informed the others. When they began to remove the chips, our government and the Mexican government lost track of them. That's when George Bush called off the whole thing - and I think that was in 2005. Bush had nothing to do with Fast and Furious.

The Mexican government, unlike the Bush era scheme, knew nothing of Fast and Furious.

I believe that it would be a gross misestimation to excuse Fox News as “crazy.” Instead, its having gone “off script” constitutes reason for speculation about what actual facts it may have stumbled upon.

Global warming is the biggest hoax that has ever been!

Report:‘Britain’s Atlantis’ Found Under North Sea
A vast, once-inhabited area that was submerged by the North Sea thousands of years ago has been discovered by divers working with oil companies and science teams from several British universities.

The underwater world, being called Doggerland and Britain’s Atlantis, stretched from Scotland to Denmark when Britain was not an island but connected to the European continent. It was gradually submerged by water between 18,000 B.C. and 5,500 B.C., according to researchers.

“Divers from oil companies have found remains of a ‘drowned world’ with a population of tens of thousands, which might have once been the ‘real heartland’ of Europe,” Britain’s Daily Mail reported.

“A team of climatologists, archaeologists, and geophysicists has now mapped the area using new data from oil companies — and revealed the full extent of a ‘lost land’ once roamed by mammoths.”

The melting of ice caps during a warm period raised sea levels and submerged the area, which was also hit by a “devastating tsunami,” the researchers claim.

“People seem to think rising sea levels are a new thing, but it’s a cycle of earth history that has happened many, many times,” said Richard Bates of the University of St. Andrews.

“We have speculated for years on the lost land’s existence from bones dredged by fishermen all over the North Sea, but it’s only since working with oil companies in the last few years that we have been able to re-create what this lost land looked like.”

The findings suggest a land with hills and valleys, large swamps and lakes, and major rivers, according to the Mail. As the sea rose the hills would have become islands.

Researchers are currently probing evidence of human habitation, including possible burial sites, although there is little such evidence remaining because much of it has eroded underwater.

An exhibit called Drowned Landscapes is now on display at The Royal Society in London.

The oldest surviving description of the “lost continent” of Atlantis was written by Plato around 360 B.C., and asserts that Atlantis sank into the ocean around 9,600 B.C.
