Jury spares life of teacher who killed rival

Carla Hughes should have gotten what she gave. DEATH!!!She didn't think twice when she brutally murdered a nice youg lady and her un-born baby. How much worse can you be

I really and truly think carla didnt killed avis banks and her unborn child cause they aint have no evidence or witness that she did that but tha way i seen and heard on tha news that she had blood on her shoes and keyon had gun residue on his hands but when keyon found her why he aint called 911 on his cellphone why he had go to a neighbor house and called someone for help..... but i really think carla is innocent and keyon is guilty for his fiancee and unborn child murder cause why would after tha fact he go out of town and get married all of the sudden he should still be grieving over his fiancee and unborn child if he so innocent but he is not he is guilty but if both of them did the killin justice should be done to both of them not one but this young woman got her life tookin over nothin for a no good man that know he did it wit them fake tears he had knowin he wasnt cryin just want tha judge them think he so innocent......... but carla i dont know you but i believe you innocent and KEYON PITTMAN IS GUILTY FOR BOTH MURDERS AND HE NEED JUSTICE DONE TO HIM NOT CARLA I BELIEVE HE DID THA KILLIN ...........BUT IMA PRAY FOR CARLA AND HER FAMILY MUCH LOVE WIT YOU CARLA AND BLESS YOU.....

my whole family think CARLA HUGHES is INNOCENT and KEYON PITTMAN is GUILTY......... HE NEED JUSTICE DONE TO HIM WHY HE OUT DOIN WAT HE WANNA DO AND THIS YONG WOMAN GOT LIFE FOR HI NO GOOD SELF BUT HE NEED TO BE DEAD...................

What was she sentenced to?

Have people forgotten how jealousy can bring out the worst in the best people? People who commit such crimes as Carla Hughes did covet what they see everyday. She loved that little ugly man and she wanted to be with him. But the fact that Avis was there and pregnant with his child meant that the two were going to be linked forever, whether they stayed together or not. She couldn't handle that and it brought out the beast in her. My mom used to say "silence gives consent". The fact that she would not take the stand and at the least tell her true involvement (assuming as a lot of you seem to think that she's innocent)tells me that she had plenty to do with it. I know if I was accused of a murder I didn't commit, I'd be screaming it to the top of my lungs and when I went hoarse, I'd write it on posters. I certainly wouldn't have gone down by myself and let that funnly looking man go off scot free to live his life. Think, people! Carla did this. I'm glad the jury spared her life though. That's not a judgement for man to make.

I just hope they got it right.

I'm speechless. I've been following this trial and all I know is that Carla DID NOT DO IT.
