Sneaky, bananas are a good source of patassium for monkeys --they sure can peel bananas fast. Why even some people like banans also. especially on my morning cereal. Did you known Sneaky that the word cereal on a box of cereal is hard to find on a box of cereal as is is seldom used on the box as a descriptive word or noun.

Pappy, I have known about "Monsanto" seeds for awhile. The global corporate fascists have been reported on in The NATION magazine, The Progressive, and Mother Jones, etc. Check out Common Dreams on the web to stay informed, among many other news sights. Many parts of the earth are drying up, at the same time other parts are getting larger amounts of rainfall, or snowfall as there is at least 5% more water in the atmosphere due to climate change. Can you believe these monster tornadoes? Remember seeing the huge cyclone that hit Australia back in February or March? I hear the Gulf of Mexico already has higher than normal temperatures. It doesn't bode well for the hurricane season coming, especially with that toxin Corexit in the water. Corexit is banned in Europe, but BP only cares about profits, not people. Like all of these trans national oil oligarchs. Looks like planet earth is now "the wild ride". Hang on to your hats, ladies and gentlemen!

Bettter start to worry in your friendly state if you folks have a declared disaster as the GOPERS cut off 3 billion in funding for FEMA to use in emergencies. So FEMA will be probalbly running short on funds during the year.

pappy, We've had tons of rain and we're about to get more storms now. Never mind the copycat from Petoskey, they say it's a form of flattery, but really he's just a busboy troll from the DeVos "family", with homophobic tendencies. Just another righty wingnut to have fun bothering. Anyway, the GOPHERs will just deny climate change and tell everyone to pick themselves up by your own bootstraps. They hate the "Golden Rule".

Friend, once the big grain seed sellers like Monsanto gets thier seeds out to enough farmers they will be able to control the food supply of the world. Read where a grain seed dealer corporation, tryed to tkae over the rice seed in India and claim it as their own--- India tooook them to court and won as the Rice had been grown in India for hundreds of years. The gaint aseed company lost their case and now the people of india can grow their rice once more. This happened some years back when the seed company claimed the seed as their own. If a company controls a seed they control the food chain. and geneticly enhanced seed I bekieve has to be bought from the company that grows it. ans it nmay not come back as a true crop if seed is used to plant from a geneticly changes seed,. No telling what it would revert back to if used as a seed the following years once it has been geneticly changed DNA.

Just have a pregnant person take the wrong medicine and you may come up with a geneticly changed baby ,for the worst, NO arms, no feet? I know a family that is raising a geneticly changed baby like that because the mother had taken a med prescribed for her. Genetics and DNA do not always mean for the good of things.

The Europeans have better laws that protect their citizens. Over there drugs must first be proven to be safe before they can be prescribed. Here, drugs and other materials are allowed to be used before all affects are known. Deaths of Americans are tolerated by big Pharma and other corporations. Laws go against citizens' rights to sue. What an exceptional country!??!

Friend, as to drugs--some of them go onto the market before they are approved for human consumption.

Friend, the taxes that corporations pay are so low that most ordinary people pay taxes at a higher tax rate than corporations pay. Corporations now pay their taxes to the fedearal goverment at a tax rate of a low 6 to 7 percent tax rate. That is if they are paying any taxes at all. Some of our corporations in 20 10 paid no taxes ,made billions and got back a refund in the billions of ollars --example GE, and Exxxon. How about BOA.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Capricorn

You feel like overindulging yourself in some way today, and why not? Throw caution to the wind and eat your way through a big bar of chocolate, or have a retail therapy session that leaves you reeling from the amount of money you've spent. There's a definite chance you could get carried away and tell a whopper of a story that has little resemblance to what really happened. What on earth has got into you?
