What authority does the appearance committee have? Every single town has a few health inspectors FP has only 1. Why would a committee check on weeds? Why would a committee check on the welfare of the elderly and the sick as well as follow up on all of the complaints by someone like you? This job takes time and effort from more than one person don't you think? The HR lady takes care of all FP employees. A reply is in order. I can't wait for another dumb solution to pritchett's fuckup

my thought on all these issue that the town his haveing 'is that all the employes even barret hes

when the town is in such bad shape money wise

why is FP planning entertainment? There is no money for that! And I was not aware what exactly the health inspector job responsibilities are. I was told that they go to see if peoples yards are clean. As far as visiting senior citizens, doesnt the Leyden Senior Center do that? Does the health inspector really go visit the elderly? That is not what my understanding of what the health inspector does. I thought the health inspector also inspected restaurants for sanitation., etc. Forgive me for not knowing enough about what the job entails. In that case, if a health inspector goes and visits the elderly, visits restaurants, and even has time to check if peoples yards are clean, then maybe FP needs two health inspectors.

From reading some of the entries, it shows that some of us residents are not entirely too familiar with what some village employees do. I did not know entirely what a health inspector did.

I guess we should start going to the meetings all the time so we would know what is what...and who does what..

Secretary.. Do people still have secretaries? in 2009? Even CEOs no longer have secretaries or administrative assistants. With blackberries, the internet, and voicemail... why does anyone need a secretary?

the best i juist got word on this and read most

What is going on is during the campain this woman worked to get Pedersen votes, now he gives her a job....
During his debate I heard him say all jobs would be posted and the best quilified person would be hired.. Did I miss the interview?
I can very easly run a fest and if I could not then I would not be the best quilified for the job. This secretary can not arrange a Santa and some cookies?
Well it is Christmas time so let's tell the truth, this young man that Pedersen hired is a family friend, guess I missed that interview also.

the only green is going into your pocket!
With economy so tight, do we need a full color news letter with our water bill, I can read in black and white. Save the colored ink.

That is what I mean.. here we go again.. we should change, but they keep doing the same bologna. We have to cut corners and scrimpt, while they do business as usual. If anyone should change, it should be them! We are the ones paying for their wreckless behavior. I recycle already and I think most people do recycle. I certainly hope after receiving that newsletter, I go to the village and see them recycling. If I dont see the village recycling, then I am going to be a very angry resident.

yea.. they should have posted the job as santa clause to anyone in the village is struggling and needs to make a few dollars, not give it to a family friend, who most likely is a well heeled individual.....

Recyling is pretty big in FP.. look at all the people who worked for Pritchett now working for Pedersen..
