Judge it!
As a former Deputy in Marlboro County, I can say I have had the opporunity to see Will Rogers perform duties as Asst. Solicitor over the last 14 years. I find him to be a caring person. He is fair and only wants whats best for the people of Chesterfield, Marlboro, Darlington, and Dillon Counties. I would like to hear what others think.

Rogers is a lot tuougher on hardend criminals than the current Solicitor, but seems ocncerned about young people/first offenders.

I feel that we need a change to be able to better the community and if Jay Ervin can bring that change then he is the candidate we all need to vote for!

I would recommend one thing to everyone. Meet them both in person and you will decide in 2 minutes who would represent us well. Will Rogers is a class act and would never embarass the 4th circuit. He is concerned about the young, middle aged and senior citizens. He is a breath of fresh air and seems to be on everyone's level not just a certain group of people. He will not tolerate violent criminals and he surely hasn't been representing the criminals the past ten years as his opponent has. Please take the time and meet the candidates before you vote!!

Jay Ervin has my vote and many, many more because we know that Will Rogers is Jay Hodges man. If you have ever had to deal with Jay Hodge and his system of justice you well know what I am talking about unless you are the criminal. He has no heart even when it comes down to someone he has known all his life, even has eaten at their table. He will stab you in the back then lie to every goverment agency we have about what he did. Will Rogers is a man that has strong beliefs in family values, honesty, the community, fairness, and above all our Lord in Heaven. I have known him and his family since Will was a child. Jay Hodge is not running for SOLICITOR. Jay Ervin is a fine man, and I wish him much luck. I am sorry for the anger you have in your heart against Jay Hodge, and I will pray for you and yours. But just remember "God does not like Ugly". Know all the facts before you cast your Vote. Misty, I see you are from FLORENCE, SC or either you lied. 1 Who would you want? Would you want an experienced skipper piloting your ship or a green horn? If Mr. Ervin's desire is to be Solicitor, maybe he should work his way up, learning the mechanics of the office, then seek the position. |

Jay Ervin will use experienced people to do a better job. I hear he already has Mahlon Padgett as the deputy solicitor for Marlboro County, Ray Jones as the investigator and Tommy Parker as the policy advisor.

If this is true, I think it speaks volumes about Mr. Ervin. Just one more reason to vote for Will Rogers. |

I understand more than you know, like the reason as to why you no longer work for Jay. But here is the real deal!!!!!!! After the votes of the Smartest & Finest people in Chesterfield, Marlboro, Darlington, and Dillon Counties in a tally of 2 to 1, Will Rogers and his GREAT TEAM has won. As far as I am quoting the Bible, That's the Book I live by. I never called you a LIAR. I merely asked did you Lie. So I suggest you look this up in the Dictionary, but most of all Read the Bible and maybe it will take some of the "Dislikes for others" out of your heart. Now you understand that. |

Society Hill's Town Council race comes to a vote on July 8. I hear that Cameron Michael has filed to run. He would be a huge asset to the community due to his experience and vision. He would likely be capable of bringing some commercial ventures to the town also, his family has been successful in attracting businesses in Cheraw & Chesterfield.
