New to Eagle

My husband and I are fairly new to the Village of Eagle. We are a younger couple and looking for ways to meet people and get to know our community. We don't currently have children, but are planning to in the near future. Any suggestions? Also - What are some positives and negatives to living in this area? Any activities, celebrations, or traditions (other than eagle days) that happen in Eagle?

Just be careful who you can trust and not trust. There are a lot of people think, if you are not in the CLICK, then you are nobody. We are fairly new also, and I become cautious on what to say to some and what not to say. Some think they are better than others, well I have news for them, they are NO BETTER than anyone else. There is a big activity the 1st or 2nd weekend in June, that is when Eagle Days is. The whole town of Eagle has their garage sales and fun for kids and adults. There is also a street dance on main street. Welcome to Eagle. We have met a few people at the One Eyed Dog. Good place to eat, and so is the Corner Cafe.
