Haigler seems like a nice quiet little town. Much like the one that our family lives in here in Indiana. My great grandmother Anna Maurer lived in Haigler and I think is buried in one of the cemetaries. Her son, John, I believe built the house that they lived in in Haigler and I understand that it is still standing. I believe he is buried in Haigler as well. Would anyone in Haigler be kind enough to find the house and take a picture of it and E-mail it to me? And if there would be a tombstone on either grave would it be possible to get a picture or pictures of them as well. If it is possible, my E-mail address is ggmaurer@aol.com. I would appreciate it very much and would be willing to compensate whomever takes provides the information for me if a name and address is sent along with the pictures or information in the E-mail. Thanks so much in advance....it would save me miles of driving to visit Haigler, although I would like to do that sometime. I have a picture of my great grandmother Anna Maurer standing on the backporch of the home that I believe she lived in in Haigler. It was a white frame home then. Would appreciate any correspondence with anyone available to help.
Sincerely, Greg Maurer ggmaurer@aol.com |
