Nice that Benicia has a mayor that cares about her city and the quality of life, unlike the people that run Vallejo into the ground.

That seems so petty,so walk across the street and pick up some trash once in awhile. We live next to the High School and have been picking up trash for over ten years. So should we request a Revision to the High Schools condition's as well.Com e on folks are we getting so lazy we have to blame a business and hold them accountable for citzens trowing trash two blocks from there business. So whats next, sweep and wash the sidewalks because people are spitting as they leave the Station.

I read this post and I have to smile. You sir are so correct about the trash along the houses across from Hogan HS. When Hogan closes down, there will be no more trash, no more kids hanging out smoking and no more yelling and fights in our neighborhoods. Send the noise makers to Vallejo HS and Bethal.

You must be retired. WHY Should WE pick out other peoples c*rap? Maybe you should contact the high school and have them address your trash issue. I live by a school also and there is no way I am picking up stuff which has tons of germs and who knows what on it. We are talking about a business which operates 24 hours a day with most of the trash coming from its patrons. I am sure most folks are trashing it during the dark hours when they think nobody can see. We have a wonderful Mayor who I would like to see continue to be a asset to our community instead of a garbage collector! If you have nothing better to do, why don't you take a drive down Military and pick some trash up?

Mini Mart. pick up after your patrons! Safeway does... why can't you? Heck even I wash down my sidewalks every once and a while.

Oh, please!

Anyone of you ever go to Vallejo and not feel depressed about it? Just a place with a shade of gloominess!

Oh please don't get me started on littering, litterbugs, blightful businesses and properties.
Yes, we all should be responsible at the very least to not litter. I see it all the time everywhere and it is not just kids. I beleive property owners and business owners should be held accountable if their properties are overgrown with weeds, trash, cars and the city should fine them if they do not comply. I have seen cars pull up to a redlight and roll down their window to dispose of paper, I see it in the carpool lines both Vallejo and SF, and it is nowhere more prevelant than in areas of low income. Those areas are rife with fastfood "restaraunts". Drive down Westwood, Castlewood, Springs Road, Lemon Street. No one even sweeps the leaves out of the street gutters in front of their houses.

If our Mayor realy cared for our town she would work on jobs for young and old. But it is hard to do when all you care about is the artist and the money thay can raise for you.

You, sir, are a twit. For example--only rich people dislike having trash all over their public streets? What?? That's the most retarded statement I've read here today, and you made it. Of course this is Topix so I am sure it will get worse, but still--twit. You. Yes.

Benicia Man is way more than a twit,it's been proven that he just makes things up. He's clearly a swarztman and hughes backer,if not one of the two themselves.Don't waste your time even reading any of his post.I'm sure he blindly follows fox news as well and repeats it all word for word like a parrot.
