Illegal Haters wrote: Perfect Tonto, you arrived at the correct conclusion. We don't need bases all over the world. You said, "So with gas at $4.50/gallon I'm just not seeing the economic benefit you're imagining we're getting. It's so simplistic to say we're after their OIL, OIL, OIL - but where is it?" I couldn't have said it better myself. Congratulations, it was a struggle, but you saw the light. So could you let Germany, Japan, and Korea know this as well? Apparently they see value for these instillations where you don't. And don't you think it should be their call, not the USA's or yours? Still don't see your light but whatever light you keep looking at is blinding you!-

I'm sorry - I missed your answer to my question again - I'll ask a 3rd time.
What resources are we stealing from Germany, Japan and Korea?
That light must really be blinding. Is that's what keeping you from seeing my question?

If we are wasting money on bases and not changing anything then time to bring the troops home. Our choice not theirs. You tell me what resources we are getting. Only staging areas to maintain the empire and threaten war, oh boy. Do you see similarities to Rome?

REGIONAL STABILIZATION - Mutually beneficial. Who said it's wasting money? What do you want to see changed there? Another Hitler, Kim Jong-il creating havoc, China in Japan?
You need to take this up with NATO and the UN. You obviously know more than our allies. All encourage peace keeping, stability forces.
I'll ask a 4th time. You said we are stealing resources by having a military presence in these countries. What resources are we stealing?
I continue to answer your questions? Why such a wuss to answer my only one?

Thanks to the people that gave me a chance then I could do good work, if not because of that one chance this article wouldn't be about me changing my life. "Children risk their lives in the dream of finding a bigger one" is what the decision that I made when I was young, then I learnt the lesson like an adult, then now I am ready to take on my next challenge, taking myself to medical school. Thank you for the support once again. I really don't have much to say but to admire everyone because everyone could make change.

"the prestigious Bertha Wolf-Rosenthal Foundation Award for Community Service given by the Liberty Hill Foundation,"..."pres tigious"? According to whom? What did Bertha Wolf-Rosenthal ever do for this country? Who was she? Mr. Rosenthal? These were the same people that engendered the immigration and social policies that allow gangs here to hide behind so no one would mind them. Now they reward the fruits of their labor as though it were a good thing? It's a social cancer on our country. Every aspect of it and them should be cut out and sent to the pathology lab so that it can't spread. Don't celebrate-extirpate.

Mr. Chew, forgot to add that you can only go forward in life. Looks like you're trying your best, although your past is a travesty. Lose the long hair and good luck.

Go Vincent, pay no attention to these haters, they are the scum of the earth. And Tonto, how is that regional stabilization working where we have our bases? Come on, your politics are laughable. We are in South Korea and now we have nukes in the north. We are in Japan and now China is the looming world economic and military power. We are doing a real good job stabilizing the regions we are in. How is the Middle East, Afghanistan? Ha ha. The sad part is we are using tax payer money protecting private interests. Do you support that? What question do you need answered so badly? I think you already know the answer, and it is an indefensible position you have taken.

This conversation starting out with you stating, "Does that say regional control loud enough for you, and for what reason. RESOURCES! Why does the US have over 150 military bases worldwide? EMPIRE"
For the 5th time I'll ask you ... What resources is our Empire (the USA) getting by having military instillations in Germany, Japan, and Korea? I'm just trying to understand your unitelligble rhetoric. Even you seem to have a hard time defending your own statement.
But you seem to have more high level info at your disposal than the Department Of Defense - North Korea has nukes? And your desire is for the US military to leave South Korea?
China, an ever expanding and looming super power and your answer is to back away?
Since when has the Run and Hide approach been an affective deterrent?
It may work for you in this forum - but it's not a logical Foreign Policy, especially since the the hosting countries want the presence to remain. Isn't it in the US interests to keep China and N. Korea down.
But perhaps the US should adopt YOUR foreign policy approach abroad; training rogues nations more in line with YOUR thinking.
The US could lead these Asian, Middle Eastern and Latin American nations effectively. Starting in in their schools, they could instill your TREASONOUS and SELF-LOATHING attitudes early and often to all their youth. Who knows things may be different for them in 50 years as well!

Isn't this the same guy who always rushes to the plight ILLEGAL ALIEN/IMMIGRATION defenses?
How many tax dollars do you wish to see spent on those private interests?
Gimme A Break!

No more breaks for you. Whoops, avoiding the question are you? You are just another poser who reverts to blaming immigrants for all the woes of the world when you are about to get trounced. I should have expected it from you. What's the matter no personal responsibility? Consider yourself beaten at this point.

I'm just trying to follow your line of reasoning ... or lack of!
Obviously I've hit below the belt.
The illegal immigration hit a raw nerve that has severed your ability to think about anything else.
But I'll ask again - now the 6th time - if you could clarify your statement, "Does that say regional control loud enough for you, and for what reason. RESOURCES! Why does the US have over 150 military bases worldwide? EMPIRE"
What resources is our Empire (the USA) getting by having military instillations in Germany, Japan, and Korea?
FYI: I'm not blaming illegals, I just don't want to pay for them - Major Difference!

Everyone should be there tonight! The Social Justice Center of Marin will be gathering in the front of City Hall. They are the whiners who think that the SRPD should not have had the checkpoint on Grand Avenue that night - when they found 44 people without driver's licenses. I expect there will be some sparks flying at tonight's city council meeting!!

If only I pray for haters and wish the best for them. Hopefully by the end of the week my counts of haters will increase 5 to 10 more. Its just seems like the social norm of this society is hate, but for Bill, what difference would losing my long hair be? If people want to judge me cause of my long hair I will just let that be, and if you was giving me hints for my safety after this paper is published thank you and I appreciate it. But more or less, I will just keep doing what I do best and be me.
Because I'm Me.

The strategic locations are for rapid deployment of troops for combat in order to secure resources in the region. Troops, in large numbers are currently being redeployed from Germany, Japan and South Korea maybe to a neighborhood near you. New technologies new strategies tied into new locations to secure resources. The preparation for continued resource wars.

New technologies new strategies tied into new locations to secure resources. The preparation for continued resource wars. So according to your inside info ... a super secret sneak attack is being planned to invade ... NOVATO? Are we preparing to overtake Costco? Is that what all the fencing out front is for? That's pretty covert - I thought it was just a remodel! Where in your wacky googling research do the facts point to redeployments and troop draw-downs for resource mongering purposes? And where are these draw-down and redeployment troops being stationned? We are at WAR (not over resources but because of terrorist attacks and a rogue dictator who defied his own UN backed cease-fire agreement)Obviously more troops would be needed there - but where else are these troops going? What neighborhoods, what locations? Please back up your statements with facts not fluff! The US shift in military deployments has been taking place (post cold-war) since the mid 1990s. Too bad the Bosnian genocide went so long unchecked (hardly a rapid deployment) until the US and NATO finally stepped up. But they do continue to evaluate and make adjustments against contemporary and future threats. I would expect as much and so should you! But thanks for your clarification - as I expected, it was more editorial(opinion) than fact based.
