Rob Kamai is missing the point! The Madera Boulevard exit handles almost a third of the traffic leaving the freeway. If all those vehicles are added to the Tamalpais Interchange exit, which is already a choke point, the resulting congestion will be intolerable. Equally important, the Madera Boulevard exit doesn't have a bad safety record. As the saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." And anyone who thinks CalTrans has all the answers just hasn't been paying attention
