Why so many loose women around Fort Hood/Killeen area?

Hello all I just moved down here with my husband who is stationed at Fort Hood. We've been married for 2 years, but this is the first time I've accompanied him to a new post. I've tried to make friends, but I have to admit I'm taken aback by the attitudes of a lot of the women in this area. They just all seem to be out for one thing and they all want to marry a soldier to get his "benefits" (that's certainly a laugh). I've witnessed several women continue to try to hit on my husband and other soldiers even after being told repeatedly that they were happily married. Does this type of behavior occur around all military bases?

Unfortunatley it is common behavior around a military post.

It's like that around all military bases pretty much. The problem is that the ratio of men to women is so high in these areas that even the unattractive and uneducated types can still have their choice of men. Killeen is a pretty crappy town as far as towns go. It's difficult to find employment here and the standard of living is low. Women see these soldiers as a meal ticket and pretty much as a way to get out of a miserable situation.

It does in wartime. Marry, get the check and don't have to worry about having him around. And if they're lucky he'll get killed. Same thing in every war. You'd be surprised at the divorce rate when husbands go to war.

I am the wife of a retired soldier and I can tell you it is the same at all post even more so overseas. The only thing I can tell you is to be a good wife and let your husband know you love him and that he already has the best at home waiting on him. Good Luck I am lucky my husband and I made it as it says to everyone who sees our retirement pictures "yes I said our retirement because if you are married to someone in the service you go through thing together they maybe the one in the field or deployed but you are the one back here or at home keeping everything else going

Loose women will be loose women, and there will always be loose men to chase them. Killeen has no more or no less loose women or loose men than any other town.

there are loose men and women all over the world, it just doesnt apply to military life, that is a sterotype, its just on a army post, lots of hubbies and wives are off at war, which makes for unfaitful spouses. if you and your spouse have a good, loving relationship then no need to worry about the loose people.

Yes I do agree with you. However, I do think military people are a little worse. I used to have an extremely positive outlook about these people, until I married into the military and now, sorry, but I do see why they go to Iraq. There are a lot of horrible people in the military, and not the most intelligent. I am not being negative, I am being completely honest and I am not the only one that has said this. Sorry, but that is how myself among a lot of other people feel.

I don't think that is town is crappy I think the people in killeen are crappy this ALL WOMEN THINK THAT!!!!!! That military men or the key and their not they come wi th more problem then anybody else. And the reason women go after these men is because that is what the men like they get tried of see the same woman all day and night!!!!!!!!!!

I am so f**king tired everyone saying military has the worse unfaithful husband and wives. it is every where in every town. You just see it more on military Post base cause everyone live so f**king close to each other every one is so damn noesy that they have to know who doing who and when blah blah blah.

There are many wh*res in Killeen and many wh*remongers to chase after them. Soldiers (male or female)are easy prey for wh*res, sluts, all kinds of harlets, all races of easy lays. I learned a very long time ago, JUST SAY NO! If you think you are ALL that, ask yourself why ANYONE (male, female, sheep, cow, pig, etc) would meet you and in 60 minutes or less be slobbering all over your tiny johnson or your smelly TUNA and professing their great love for you; while asking you to help them pay a bill?????
