Belton Police Arrest Six Men for Gang Rape

I have known Ivan Crumbliss since elementary school. He's not a rapist, this is outrageous.

The suspects, arrested by Belton police Wednesday, were: Daniel Lee Chaney, 19; Ivan Douglas Crumbliss, 18; Johnny Ray Embers, 22; Jonathan Medina, 20; Bradley Deon Moffett, 21; and Christopher Alexander Smith, 20.

All of the suspects confessed to the crime except for Smith, the arrest affidavit said. Another suspect, Chaney, said Smith bragged about sexually assaulting the victim, the affidavit said.

My hope is that the sick bastards get the book tossed at them. On another note, lets charge the parents with child neglect, or something. My 15 year old daughter is not going to a party with a group of 18 t 22 year old young 'men'.

I know Ivan and he would NEVER I repeat NEVER do something like this. This is ridicouls and not nessary./ This is going to ruin other peoples lives because a stupid girl says she got raped. Maybe somebody should think about what shes done before she accuses people. Ivan is one of my very good friends and would never do something like this!!!!!!!

True, the 15 year old should not have been there and you definitely should know who your children hang around with and where they go but for these young men to take advantage of her was criminal!

I find it really hard to wake up everyday and go through school, listning to all of the horrible things people are saying. I know that Ivan is inocent.It isn't fair that any of these men should serve hard time due to the lack of medical evidence. I cant believe that they are just going to go off of a single girls word. I know Ivan Douglas crumbliss, and I know he will hold his head high and do what he has to do. Mariah, So are you saying that Ivan is the ONE that did not confess to the crime? The rest of them confessed. Only 1 did not.

I don't believe that the confessions were done in legal nor proper manner. Everyone pulling for Ivan hang in there we are working on it. Don't believe all you see or hear there are 2 sides to every story. For those against, grow up and remember this country has a constitution that states everyone is INNOCENT until proven guilty in a court of LAW, not a blog or in unknowledgeable people who only talk from what they hear and are not involved. JUDGE NOT LEST YE BE JUDGED. That is why we have a court system in place. Just wait until all is said and the verdict is read.

Sis, most folks that are innocent don't confess, some of you here remind me of every standing up for M. Vick, he really is innocent, just pleaded guilty because he is black. It would not mater what he cops did or said, since I tell the truth in all things, they could not trick me into a confession, or confuse me about what I said before.

Ivan has been one of my really good friends for a while now, practically a brother to me. He is NOT a rapist. He would never force anyone to do anything they aren't willing do. this is all bull that those boys lives are RUIND because one girl wanted to "party" with older boys. maybe her parents should be faulted someone seeing as how they didn't know where in the world they're kid was. Megann, Ivan is 18, if he had sex with a 15 year old girl, he is a rapist and will have to register as a child molester for the rest of his life.

Ivan crumbliss walks a free man never having to register as a sex offender..... all of the girls statements practically fell through and now i can sit back and say that i was right and i am proud of defending this man.... he is my best friend and always will be ...
